In all seriousness though, he only has one obvious use and that’s in a build dedicated to Soul Saver Dragon. In addition to the 30k the whole column gets he’d also gain another 25k so the 21k or thereabouts column he’s swinging for suddenly becomes worth 76k power: basically unblockable in other words without a Perfect Guard.

My problem here is timing. While 5 soul is achievable (Pongal and this plus riding normally would pretty much do it), Soul Saver is relegated to Late Game for best results, so either you’ll have to hold back Palamedes for preservation sake and miss out on some pressure, or call it early and have it constantly sniped at (or have it vanish straight up if it’s a Kagero or Narukami matchup). It’s also a pretty crap ride as you cannot even use the excuse of loading soul for eventual Soul Saver because the sheer support out there means whatever soul he racks up is pretty obsolete.

Works in one build and even then that one build has largely got more consistent options available to it. Build on a budget but that’s it.
