That’s right, I’m actually looking at a Japanese Promo Card (and perhaps one of the earliest promo cards revealed)!

My deck of choice for the Lyrical Monasterio nation is still Kairi (since that’s the only ride line I have), and looking at the promo card, I suddenly got so excited in seeing it. This is another one of those promo cards that I will plan on having (8 copies, 4 in deck and 4 in my binder) in the future once the English print eventually gets produced. I thought I’d be content of what I have, but there’s always something new, and I can reorganize my binder to make some room.

When you play her, with the cost of a Counterblast, you get to ride AstesicexLive, Kairi from “mostly” your deck or your drop zone as Stand so that you can enable Kairi to land multiple attacks from her comrades via her abilities. This increases some form of consistency and helps you ride your Grade 4 Kairi in your 7th/8th turn of the fight, even though there’s still a chance you don’t have either that Grade 4 Kairi or Yasmin on that specific turn, thus missing out of riding her (Grade 3 Kairi is underwhelming without using her full potential of persona riding). And while Yasmin returns to the deck after using her ability, she can be used to guard, but instead of 5000 shield, it’ll be 15000 shield because you have a Grade 4 Kairi in your vanguard circle. This increased shield value might either supplement Elegance Moment, Loppil or to replace her (probably the latter).

Definitely a must run for Kairi decks at a full four and something worthwhile to use your Counterblast for. No exceptions whatsoever!
