Oh it’s Doraine except contained into one Vanguard? Well, that happened.

To be honest that’s basically the main draw and why Silver Thorns seem a little more promising as a deck compared to Harri. The base Silver Thorns are good, and unlike Harri, you can call multiple copies of one particular Silver Thorn, which makes the utility of the deck more desirable. At the end of the turn, you can just have the lot of them retreat to the soul, and if you’re playing Accel 2 you get a new card, although the first call discards 1 from the hand so it’s really a +0 wash, even a straight minus if you have to call from the hand to satisfy the first skill even afterwards.

But for what it’s worth being able to mirage play your way out against stuff like Narukami, Kagero etc, in a format that still has nothing to answer it like Standard’s equivalent of Zeigenburg, is certainly not inconsiderate. I’d say Silver Thorns as a deck is a little better than Harri, just for versatility.

Shame about that whole ‘call to front-row’ clause though.
