Okay, so I guess we’d better get the new Dark Irregulars out of the way so that we can focus on catching up before the last set of G Bermudas hit. Starting us off is Mr Toolbox. This new Scharhrot doesn’t plus as such with the Stride skill, but your +0 wash will be so high quality generally it won’t matter. Whether you need to fetch Stride fodder, a Perfect Guard you Soulcharged or just need to charge and/or retrieve Wertiger Jaeger, this card basically does it all. The second skill is pretty neat and as long as it’s a +0 wash at least I’ll take it. The countercharge is a nifty bonus which means you can keep your damage open for Dust, your ace in the hole.

New priority ride for Darkness decks. Slower to retire but hard advantage is overrated.

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  For this week, it’s going to be a focus on a personal favorite clan of mine, Dark Irregulars, and what better way to start off the week than with the newest Scharhrot that turned your Soul from something to just keep track of the number of cards in said Soul to being a toolbox for Scharhrot.  The fact that Daybreak can let you fish for anything in the Soul and isn’t optional to put something in the Soul (hence “up to one”) helps keep yourself at an even break for striding and let’s you get what you’d need for that turn.  Add in an old school Amon skill for kicks with a Countercharge, and Darkness Decks just got a great addition for their lineup.
