So apparently not happy with the absolute clusterfuck of deck choices, they gave us ANOTHER ONE. New Ange’s Stride skill is a +2 to you every turn as long as you can bounce one on each side, which is probably to make up for the fact she doesn’t have Harmony. Her GB2 is primarily what you want her for though, being able to Stride for basically free as long as your hand doesn’t clog with 0s, or just acting as a way to search herself with the Stride skill (if you don’t want to search something lower Grade that has a GB2 that is).

Deck itself is pretty nutty when it works. It works by combining Chouchou Lucille with Ange’s GB2 for big numbers and combining them with Popping Melody Layla to bring pressure as well. Only downside is that there’s no way to search Ange reliably. You have to open with her or you’re basically fucked.

Weird, but useable. Counters Lock at any rate and Resist by targeting circles and bouncing cards, for those who care.

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  So…another story about my Bermuda Triangle teammate…watching him play this variant and beating players first stride almost made me bang my head on the table so many times and for so hard that either I should’ve been knocked out or had my head busted open just from the frustration of this madness.  The reason I say that is that he combines multiple GB2 units into one major combo to make him have a 3 card or less deck (thanks to the new Felucca and declaring Grade 3) and make Lacol unguardable (aside from G Guardians) and combined with Layla to make her a base 12k Crit 2.  Combine all this with a 12-16 Critical deck, and all of a sudden, Lacol is swinging in for (considering if you hit 2 Critical Triggers), 32k, Crit 4 and G Guardian only attack.  Now, what does this combo have to do with Genius, Ange?  Well, as the name suggests, Ange is the goddamn mastermind out of all this!  On Stride/Ride, you can bounce one of your RG circles (meaning this gets around Lock) to search for anything that has a GB2 restriction, and all of the aforementioned cards have said restriction, so getting that annoying ass combo is pretty damn easy for this deck.  Also, you can bounce one of your opponent’s RG circles to get a free draw with that same skill (so for most people, an interceptor or maybe a Grade 3 that way their shield value doesn’t increase).  Oh, and let’s also not forget that at GB2 or higher, instead of discarding to Stride, you CALL them to Stride?!  *sigh*…I’m kinda done with Loli Mermaid Pop Idols for the rest of this year…
