New Chaos Breaker is basically now the only ace for Star-Vaders worth having. Locking isn’t high in quality as the opponent chooses, but that’s why you combine Chaos Universe and Chaos Breaker Deluge with it to shut down as much as you can. The second skill is basically a free +2 to you at the end of every turn with no strings attached…or you could run Destiny Guardian, because unlike the old Chaos, the retire isn’t restricted to the End Phase this time. So props to making one more G Guardian actually useable in anything NOT Messiahs.

Loses points for not being searchable though. There’s no quick fix other than to use Planck Dracokid and hope, or use Chaos Bringer’s LB on 4 damage so you don’t minus by riding again. Still good when he appears though.

I have a love-hate relationship with this card. I love how it has on-ride skill that can lock for CB1 Star-vader, unlike where Chaos Breaker Dragon costs a CB1 Star-vader and a discard. But I also hate the fact he can only retire once, unlike Chaos Breaker Dragon who can Soul blast for days to empty the field. I do have to give it props for being cost efficient, Free Draw 1 Retire 1 is still advantage; if you want to field wipe, you can just ride Chaos Breaker Dragon. A pretty good card nonetheless.
