So this card copies the abilities of all the units in the soul with Melody…including the non-Melody skills attached. The only downside is actually racking up the soul, because obviously something like Sonata wants to be in there as soon as possible, but there aren’t too many ways to reliably search it. Luckily if you open with both Sonata and Plon, you can just use the second skill to get Sonata in the soul and then get a nice bonus, like a Protect 1 or Accel 2 if you want to make up for the initial -1. You can mass Soulcharge with Canon too, I suppose, given the G2 lineup was more generous with Melody and so Canon has more chances to be used.

It’s very fiddly, but it’s sort of doable. Only downside is having to cut some other G3s just to make room, and I don’t really know what COULD be cut. Assuming we want to max Plon, for consistency we’d have to max Sonata also, and then the remaining 4 Grade 3s could be something like…probably Caro, so that it actually has something to do on rear-guard circle and can benefit any other Plons you call. But if you’re going to go that far, you may as well just make Sonata the hero of the deck unless you desperately need the extra Gift for whatever reason.

As of writing I don’t know if we’re getting the 5 Promo G1s with Melody, but if we are you might as well try Plon.

3/5
