I don’t Gance very much, but I know some people who Gance a lot.

And that’s my stupid joke made. Let’s get on with it.

RULING: Stand Triggers as well as Floral Paladin Flogal cannot stand Blaster Blades, since they only affect RG Blaster Blades, and they are treated as being on VG circle thanks to this skill.

Standard Format? I’d say the only reason this works is that we have Conjurer or Mythril and the new Knight of the Harp Tristan to actually search Blaster Blade and make this consistent. Once you do though, every Blaster Blade will be swinging and netting a +1 with every attack, with columns to boot. This means Gancelot is an absolute must with Force 2, to pile on pressure and you already have the column game pretty much sussed.

As for what works as a backup to Gancelot, I’d pick Monarch Sanctuary just to retrieve dead Blaster Blades and soulblast a Blaster Blade out, because the deck becomes all about this motherfucker. He’s easily the biggest winner of the entire set really.
