Bull fucking shit…at least if you ride properly, anyway. However, given that you have better than 50% odds of riding the Grade 3 you want by turn 3 and we get Wonder Ezel to help things along, hell yes this card is worth basing your strategy around. With the right setup and damage you could have a Grade 3 with Twin Drive as early as Turn 2, although that involves a lot of maybes, so don’t jizz yourself over it.
The obvious draw is the fact he’s basically always Dragonic Waterfall for as long as you have Counterblast open and you have Blond Ezel in the soul. The Extra Critical is just gravy and basically means that you will almost certainly take more cards away from the opponent than they’d get naturally with Draw Phase and Twin Drive. There is however the issue of the opponent going the damage-denial route but really any attack not aimed at the vanguard is an attack that saves you shield in the long run, and Accel Circles means you won’t run out of them.
4-of staple. Shame you need to buy 8 VRs for the whole deck but we all know only grown-ups play children’s card games anyway.
