Gleaming Lord, Uranus
Ratings are based on a 1 to 5 scale. 1 is bad. 3 is average. 5 is great.
I honestly should have included Valkerion this week, now that I think about it. Oh well, next week then. Anyway, Uranus is one of two ways we’ll be able to play Valkerion, getting a Force Gift for SB2 once he enters play, and when you have 5 on the VG circle, Valkerion can be played behind the Vanguard from the hand. This is the cheap way to do it, and understandably so, given it’s only a Trial Deck Grade 3. That aside, racking up a powerful Vanguard attack that the opponent won’t ever want to actually guard except with sentinels for efficiency purposes is nothing to sneeze at, but until you can draw a Vakerion he’s just a beatstick and does not much else.
We’re getting a better Grade 3 next week, but obviously get this Trial Deck simply for the double chance of actually playing Valkerion.
We would love more volunteers to help us with our Card of the Day reviews. If you want to share your ideas on cards with other fans, feel free to drop us an email. We’d be happy to link back to your blog / YouTube Channel / etc. 😉
