[ACT](VC)1/Turn:COST [Counter Blast (1)], choose up to two of your opponent’s rear-guards without any Cradle markers, and put a Cradle marker on each of them. (That unit loses its original ability, gets its [Power] reduced by its original [Power], cannot boost nor intercept, and when it is retired, you search your deck for up to one card with the same grade as that unit, reveal it and put it into your hand, and shuffle your deck) [AUTO](VC):When it attacks, COST [retire a rear-guard], search your deck for up to one grade 3, call it to (RC), and shuffle your deck. If you called, that unit and this unit get [Power]+10000 until end of turn.

Behold, the ultimate deck…that you can’t play because COVID-19 prevents you from touching the opponent’s cards! That’s the Cradle Mechanic for you – you slot them under enemy cards, those cards can’t boost, intercept, or use skills, and their Power becomes 0, and if they get retired, you get to search the deck for a card of that Grade for yourself.

So…aside from Silver Thorns, Granblue and Nubatama which don’t keep their rear-guards on the board for too long which counter this perfectly, what we have here is an effectively +4 to you if the opponent doesn’t choose to stick with a dead column of cards just to let you not draw. They call over their cards, that’s -2 to them. You get two new cards as a result, that’s +2 to yourself. To be honest, that makes the deck perfect to run 12 Critical as you have the ability to search Grade 1 Perfect Guards should the opponent be forced to retire them off, and you draw like crazy without triggers.

The second skill is basically the main means to call Intimidating Darkface, maybe Antlion should the game have swung that way ride-wise, but it’s mostly for Darkface. That’s not a bad though, because Darkface retires cards with Cradles so you get to proc no matter what.

Gredora needs either a vanishing RG deck or just something that can straight up bulldoze (looking at The X Kagero probably), because this is pretty much the wall for less-supported clans. Dunno if she’ll win tournaments, but she’ll kill off the poor suckers who aren’t aggressive enough.
