So the first skill is live even during the opponent’s turn, so unless you kill Left Arrester you’re staring at a 17k defense. for offensive purposes the first skill is obvious.

The second skill is where you throw your hands up and call bullshit: Zangeki only allows G0 guarding and intercept. As in no G1s or 2s and no Protect Gifts. As in, for EVERY attack. Obviously needs Turn 4 and above to get going but Jesus crunchy Christ. The fact it’s CONT means that the opponent could get over the damage denial game by just pressuring with this constantly and protecting the Arresters.

As a first ride, sure the deck is a bit sad but the fact it could at least have a Critical on the first turn just by having Right Arrester means that you can still live with it until you ride another ZANGEKI. We also got a new Grade 1 that can tutor Areesters so there’s that too.
