Saikyo Cardfighter R

Throwback Thursday with the only logical choice to review. I actually truthfully still run 2 of this, as Nextage and Gear Groovy are pretty much vital for the deck’s success and I can’t search Steam Breath or Revolver Dracokid in the deck, but yes, this just got power-creeped out. G Guardians ruined its main selling point.

With the game having evolved quite a bit since Chronojet’s introduction, how does the original stride boss hold up today? Well… not as well. Even in a dedicated Chronojet deck you’d rather be on Jet g, as 16k guard restrict isn’t as strong as it once was compared to Jet G’s buff. Sorry old friend, you’ve managed to outdo yourself
