You’re not going to Stride anything in Cosmic Heroes other than this now. Everything else might as well be spare flip-fodder to fuel this motherfucker. It’s an instant 4-of because fuck nothing else will generate this much advantage with so little effort. Bravest Peak will meet the first condition easy and after that, you just need to either G-Guard once or just be clever with your rear-guards to let it fulfil the second. The fact it loses all its Drive Checks on the re-stand doesn’t even matter: it’ll be so bloody massive the opponent will have to PG this twice in order to even live, because who the fuck has that much shield Late Game? That’s a tall order in Late Game to have 2 Sentinel unless the opponent’s running Ersas or Arka and got lucky.

Also has merit in Dimensional Robos as your main win-stealer. Sadly, Cosmic Heroes have the better rear-guards all-round so you’re better off with those.

4/5

What’s up, Rogue Squad?!  For this week, I couldn’t decide on either giving Great Nature their week or to have a look at the new Star Gate goodies, but after some small debate, I decided to see what the new space stuff can do…sorry furry lovers.
I kinda spaced on yesterday’s card (my bad), but I kinda preferred Justice over Grapplers, so let’s have a look at this beast.  With all of the new Cosmic Hero and Gallop support, getting this X-Gallop to 40k for its first skill isn’t too hard especially with the new Grandgallop putting this at 40k already. The second half of the effect to restand can be difficult to do as a first Stride, but second stride onward, this thing becomes an 80k+ beast that they have to fight off twice in a late game scenario, and unless your deck can recycle perfect guards easily, you’re going to lose a lot of your hand or…you know…lose.  All D Police players will be playing this at least 2 of, while the Cosmic Heroes can more than likely play this as a 4-of.
