No Accel Gift, but in exchange, what we get is mini-Meggido in one card, plus Valeo’s power lock skill. The power lock is nice, but I’d rather have Revvon, who can not only gain an Accel Gift, but can also gain an extra Drive while still sparing at least ONE rear-guard that can have Critical Triggers stacked onto it with the right build, and doesn’t eat the resources needed to re-stand your rear-guards just to drop power.
Breaking it down, first skill is nice, but also kind of slow and costly, not to mention Revvon can push Late Game with the extra Crit, so the odds of damage triggers changing the basic equation is negligible. Second skill is really only for when you have another Valeos and your board somehow got eaten by Narukami/Kagero/everything that retires…or you really like Coral Assault and similar and you have some way to Soublast them out regularly. Third skill is just a bonus skill only useful to extend attacks a little in a deck that already does a fine job of it without the Vanguard.
Can be a backup ride to Revvon maybe, but I suspect you would be better served with a Grade 3 Order instead of Valeos, unless you would rather ride SOMETHING, anything…but you could at least pick something with an Accel Gift, no what I mean?
