I guess one of the best ways to get top billing in competitive play is to produce a deck that can do absolutely everything competently enough that there remains very few situations in which it’s going to get crapped all over like the enthusiastic puppy after a vindaloo curry. What the fuck else is Royal Paladin going to take from us now that Aerial Divine Knight Altmile has dropped? It raises dead units to intercept or proc on-call effects again, searches the deck, makes lanes, gives Critical everywhere, the Blaster engine means that retiring becomes a feasible style of play…I mean for fuck’s sake can we just have something that’s OURS without having to share with our idiot smaller sibling?!

Oh well, at least they can’t restand the Vanguard or anyth-
