 | A lot has changed since King of the Swamp was
							previously reviewed. The

first time made the card seem great since
Polymerization could get big monsters to the field.
							The
second time was just before Star Wars Episode 3
came out. Then, there was Magical Scientist and
Metamorphosis. Now, there are Instant Fusion and
theme specific fusion cards. Since King of the Swamp
can only tutor Polymerization, it's only real
utility is in decks that run that card. Maybe
Lunalights? I'd pay 1500 Life points and discard
King of the Swamp if they fixed the text to say
Polymerization or any Fusion card. As it stands,
King of the Swamp is only King of the Fusion
Substitute monsters. Versatility is worth something.
Particularly note worthy is the card is a Fusion
Substitute in the grave such that both effects can
be used in the same turn, though not with
Polymerization. Because Polymerization is bad. It's
as bad as Ritual Monsters use to be and for about
the same reason. No monster was really worth all the
effort to lose all those resources from the hand or
field. Dark Paladin is still cool though. Run this
in an old school fun deck. Use any Fusion Substitute
							in current decks.
Score: 2.5/5 Consider Performapal Trump Witch.
Art: 3/5 Monsters with frickin' lasers on their
							heads!
