From Utopia’s upgrade to Galaxy-Eyes’ upgrade, we come to Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon.

Neo Galaxy-Eyes is a Rank 8 LIGHT Dragon Xyz with 4500 ATK and 3000 DEF. Really strong stats overall, plus a good Type/Attribute combo. 3 Level 8s summons this, which is pretty costly, but still possible if the card is worth it. If Xyz Summoned using Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon as material, all other face-up cards on the field have their effects negated. I mean, it’s pretty good actually, just a lot to request a specific material for this while also needing 3 monsters to summon it. Other effect is a soft once per turn to detach a material from this to then detach all Xyz Materials from all the other Xyz Monsters the opponent controls for this to gain 500 ATK for each material detached and it can attack a number of times up to the number of detached materials via this effect. So against anything spamming Xyzs, this can do a lot of damage and most likely end the game on the spot. You would want to use Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon as material to make sure this effect resolves, though. Overall, it’s a card with a hefty requirement and not really worth it most of the time. The Extra Deck is now pretty full for Galaxy-Eyes, so I don’t know if I would even want to use a slot on this unless we had support cards for it.

Advanced Rating: 1.5/5

Art: 4/5 It’s a cool dragon, I just prefer the original more.
