Hi, all this is my first tournament report, but I've been to a bunch of tournaments since I've been playing the game for some time, well...on to the deck =)

yea i know pretty much CCC but it has some originality to it...not much but still =) Anyway...on to the report



My friends and I, arrived about 20mins early to try to get some trades (by the way we have our own team, "Team Havoc") but no one was really trading anything any of us really needed so we just played for fun and waited until the tourney started.



ROUND:1



David V.S. Angel



I've seen this guy play and he was no joke....he's come back from 5000-200 and won against skilled oponents, i felt kinda nervous but then i shook it off and went into "tournament mode", we roll a die and I elect to go first, i start off with a sweet hand: Breaker/Graceful/Pot/Sinister/MoF/MsT. I play Grace and discard sinister/blade knight and keep the newly drawn delinquent >:)~ i use Duo and drop his Swords of revealing light, and he gets rid of his Jinzo, i play Pot and pick up Kycoo and Ring of Destruction, I set MoF and Ring and End!..he starts off by playing his Pot of greed and seems to get an unsatisfying hand he sets 1 fd s/t and a monster and end turn...i draw and pick up a Nobleman hahaha!! say bye bye to his fd monster i use Crossout and hit his sinister, then i use MsT and summon Kycoo for a direct hit and end my turn, after that he stalls for a bit with waboku/ring and a few turns later my Breaker gets rid of a fd metamorphasis?? (guess he was trying to bluff me...) and i attack for the win :D



Next match:



My hand couldnt be worse...i get Nobleman/Snatch/Swords/Vortex/MoF =(

he decides to go first since he lost...gets the trinity (sux to be on the receiving end) and cripples my hand discarding my snatch and i decide to drop crossout..he summons a Blade Knight and sets a fd s/t...i pick up another Nobleman?!...damn im in big trouble...i set MoF and the Nobleman as a bluff and end..he springs his Crossout on me next turn and it all went downhill from there...he eventually finished me with BlS/Kycoo and i had drawn my Bls the turn after >:(~ sucked for me..



Third Round:



I Go first and get Breaker/Grace/Sinister/Delinquent/Sakuretsu/Royal Decree pretty good hand...i start with Grace and get Brain control/Jinzo/Airknight, so i discard Sinister/Airknight set Sakuretsu/Decree use Duo and end turn...he summons a Kycoo and tries to destroy the ghost of my airknight/sinister but runs into a sakuretsu armor he set a fd s/t and end. I draw i get Vortex and pick up my sinister, i summon Breaker and release his spell counter to break his fd card, he tries to chain his Ring of D. but i chain Royal Decree in response...he takes 1600 and i end...his move he summons a DD Assailant and smashes my breaker for 100 LP of dmg sets 1 fd s/t and end...my move i pick up swords, activate B.control and sac for Jinzo hitting him for 2400 direct...his move...he sets a monster fd and end i pick up CROSSOUT!! and hit his fd Gravekeepers Spy?...then i hit him for another 2400 =) now im feeling pretty confident..thats when things go down hill...he draws swords and stalls for what feels like 60 turns...maybe its cuz he use giant trunade and reused his swords until he could draw BLS and turn things around =( I LOSE...



Round 2



David vs Robert



This guy plays a burn deck but dosnt play it verywell...as he sets 5 cards in his first turn EVERYTIME...he goes first and sets his whole hand 4 s/t Level Area Limit B and 1 fd...my turn OPENING HAND: Heavy Storm/PoG/Kycoo/SilentSwordsmanLvL5/SnatchSteal/Swords of Revealing,/...first i use heavy storm and he chains his Secret Barrel for 1500 LP's then i use Swords, revealing his stealth bird...snatch it and sac for my Silent swordsmanlvl5 and hit him for 2300 activate PoG and get Sakuretsu/Breaker i set Sakuretsu and end...he cant recover from the massive blow of my Heavy Storm and looses a few turns later since he kept taking 2300 direct :P



Second Match:



He goes first and starts out exactly the same....im praying for Heavy storm but it dosnt show up in my first hand...as a matter of fact no s/t removal shows up...i get Airknight/Snatch/Sakuretsu/Royal Decree/Goats/Blade Knight...i summon B.knight and attack he uses Cylinder and i set Decree/Goats and end..he goes and flips a stealth bird for 1000 Lp's...so far the score is 8000(him)-5400(me)..and flips it back down then activates a Level Area LimitB..and end, I pick up Cannon Soldier and decide to take a little bit more burn next turn as i can hit him with 2000 by tributing my goats..so i end...he goes and burns me some more...sets a fd monster and ends...i chain goats to end phase then i pick up Swords and use it, I use snatch on his new fd monster then, i summons C.soldier and burn him for 1500 by tributing 2 goats+his card and end...he flips S.bird fd and gives me lava golem by tributing a goat and my c.soldier?? can u tibute a goat for L.golem!?...anyway i cant pick up anything to save my life and lava is hot so it burns my life to 0....



round 3



I get Heavy storm in first hand and know im gonna win =) i get Heavy/Grace/Book/Goats/Bls-Soldier/Mof..i use Grace and drop Jinzo/Airknight and keep Call of the haunted set MoF, Book, and end...and as i predicted he sets his whole hand and ends...not even a monster..which meant that had to be lava golem in his hand...so i draw Ring of Destruction and i cance it and use Heavy storm in my next turn he chains 2 secret barrels for like 2700 Lp's....that burns...i flip Mof and use grace again getting premature burial, sinister, and sakuretsu i drop sinister/sakuretsu and use Prem to get Airknight and start hacking away at his Lp's as he struggles to recover with his dismal looking hand he's down to about 2400 and somehow got me down to 4700 but i know he has lava golem but he dosnt know im holding ring :) so i trick him into summoning it by setting a monster along with my airknight...and surely enough he does...where i ring it and win the game =)



Round 3



David vs Kid with random cards



Nothing much to tell here except that i was OBLIDERATED BY EXODIA!!.....i was paired up a kid no older than 11...and he set his Pot of Greed...so im thinking EZ win ill be waiting for next round in no time...i summon breaker and break his pot to make sure he dosnt use it..hit him for 1600 and end...next turn he picks up last piece of the forbidden one and incinerates my LP's along with my pride...



Next Match



I know he's running Exodia so i side deck my Don Zaloog's and sure enough i get them both on the field and has his hand down to nothing in a matter of 3 turns...also to add insult to injury i removed 3 of his exodia pieces with my Kycoo =)



Next Match



I got the exodia killer hand!! Delinquent/Space/Don/Don/Pot/Vortex...he goes first and opens with a fd card...i use MST and hit his fd POT OF GREED!?...then i use Delinquent and hit no pieces...damn..but then i summon Don and hit the left leg :) and end my turn...as the turns roll on he keeps taking hits from don and u know what that means! :P no more Exodia and on to the next round for me



Final Round:



David vs Lleroy



This totally sux...im paired up against one of my teammates...he was already in sixth place in the rankings and i was in 10th...so he kept asking me to give him the win since it would make more sense than him losing to me and neither of us makes it to the top 4...but i refuse and completely decintigrate him both rounds with my tournament mode focus =P just to make him squerm a little LoL..but then i give him the win and he still ends up not making top 4 but another of our team mates did make it and made it to the top reaking Havoc along the way!! he got 1st place and pulled absolute garbage...but a card of sanctity magic card...anyway it was a fun tourney/time killer on a saturday and my team did win the tourney so i guess all in all it was a pretty good day =)





Pros: 1.my team winning 1st place in the tourney



Cons: 1. having to face my own teammate in the tourney

2. losing a match to the kid with the cheap exodia deck who sets PoG

3. Me not getting 1st place in the tourney even though im happy for my main man, Justin :P





Thanks for posting my Tourney Report, i hope to post a few more in the future and props to Pojo.com for having such a great web site for Yugi-oh Fans like me =)
