The Agent of Mystery - Earth
#SLDS-EN002

When this card is Normal Summoned, you can add 1 "Agent" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "The Agent of Mystery - Earth". If "The Sanctuary in the Sky" is on the field, you can add 1 "Master Hyperion" to your hand instead.

Today’s card is the Agent of Mystery – Earth. Earth’s effect allows it to add a different Agent monster, or if Sanctuary in the Sky is on the field a Master Hyperion, from your deck to your hand when it is normal summoned. It is effectively an Agent Elemental Hero Stratos that has the ability to search your boss monster from the deck. Earth’s usefulness is only magnified by the fact that he can be leveraged into a synchro monster. This card should be played in triplicate in any Agent deck, especially those running Sanctuary in the Sky.

The Agent of Mystery – Earth

Today we look at one of the best cards to come out of the Lost Sanctuary Structure Deck. Earth is very similar to one of my favorite cards of all time, Elemental hero Stratos. Minus the spell/trap destruction effect, Earth is essentially the same card as Stratos; being able to search out any Agent card in the deck. Instead of the back row destruction, Earth has the benefit of searching out the deck’s “boss” monster while Sanctuary of the Sky is on the field. As an added bonus, Earth is even a tuner. This card is absolutely essential in Agent decks, providing a fair amount of speed and synchro-power. The stats could be a little better, but if you couldn’t use Chain Disappearance on it, it would be a little too broken. If only the card could activate the effect when special summoned as well, then we’d have another Stratos on our hands.

The Agent of Mystery - Earth

This is one of my new favorite cards in the game. Earth acts as an Elemental Hero Stratos for Agents (usually Venus or Jupiter) when she's Normal Summoned (if it included Special Summoned she would be ridiculously broken), and while you have The Sanctuary in the Sky on the field, Earth can grab the new Fairy boss, Master Hyperion. I know there's a lot of debate over which Agent build is better (Sanctuary vs Valhalla), but I feel like adding a Sanctuary or two to a Valhalla build will increase speed and consistency a lot more, since Earth will be able to get either Venus or Hyperion, whichever puts you in a better position. This card is really good, and being a Tuner helps her a lot, too. She's a highly welcomed card to Fairy decks and definitely a staple at 3 in all Agent decks.

Advanced: 4/5 (Obviously only playable in Agent decks)

Skyphantom

Hey everyone, here's agent number 2, Agent of Mystery-Earth. A little fairy with 1000/800. I don't see how she's mysterious, wouldn't that be pluto's job or something? We live on earth. But I digress, basically, she's like the stratos of the deck, searching out the other agents or master hyperion if you have our sanctuary in the sky. She's also a tuner, so if you can get venus out a turn later, a lot of level 8 and 9 shenanigans ensue. No wonder her build topped. All in all, solid card, and a wonderful addition to the archetype.

One of the new agents from Lost Sanctuary and ...wow its really good.
Not so much in terms of atk/def but thats not why you'll care anyways.
This little girl is oh so good, with a stratos effect for agents and hyperion; with Sanctuary on the field. Even in builds that don't run the field spell, the ability to simply add any agent is fantastic. On top of this shes a level two tuner, giving the deck more synchro options. Theres no debating this card being a staple in all kinds of agent decks. It has so much synergy with the deck, and gives it the much needed speed it lacked. The combos are obvious, but I enjoy synching this gal and then dropping the hyperion I just got with her.

Main three and don't look back. If only all the agents had such redeeming qualities.

The Agent of Mystery--Earth, continues the week, who is a considerable sight better than yesterday's card.  We have a Level 2, Light attributed Fairy type, Tuner monster, with 1000 attack and 800 defense.  Now, when Normal Summoned, you can add another Agent monster from your Deck to your Hand, excluding itself.  Furthermore, if you control Sanctuary in the Sky, you can add a Master Hyperion from your Deck to your Hand instead.  That's fantastic, as Master Hyperion couldn't be Summoned a whole lot easier, but more on that later.  Earth isn't going to do much attacking, or defending, but it's a great combo card, and being a Tuner never hurt anybody.
