General Grunard of the Ice Barrier, the second of the Generals we're looking at this week, which may give intelligent people out there an idea as to what we're looking at tomorrow.  Grunard, unlike yesterday, is Level 8, who has 2800 attack (instead of the 2700) and 1000 defense (instead of 2000) but is still a Water attributed, Warrior type Monster, although his armor suggests he could be a Spellcaster I think.  Now, while yesterday you were allowed a Special Summon from the Graveyard at the End Phase, here, in addition to your Normal Summon or Set, you're allowed an extra Ice Barrier Monster Normal Summon.  The effect can only be used once per turn, and I guess it can add a little bit of speed and/or protection, perhaps setting up a Lockdown or sorts, as the Ice Barriers enjoy doing.  But I still think it's easier and faster to use yesterday's card instead.

In continuing with the Ice Barrier theme we have General Grunard of the Ice Barrier. He is another two tribute general, similar to yesterday, but with that extra 100 attack to push him into top attack status with 2800. Grunard allows you up to two normal summons, or an extra normal summon after your set, per turn during your main phase. Pretty much once he hits the field it is a synchro every turn, if you have the cards for it. Combined with Gantala from yesterday, these generals have a fairly decent swarming capability albeit a rather slow one.

The Legion

Today, we present the second general of the week, General Grunard of the Ice Barrier. He is a level 8 Water Warrior with 2800 atk, and 1000 def. Once again, we have a double sacrifice monster but his effect and atk easily helps make up for it. Once per turn you can normal summon another ice barrier monster on top of your normal summon. This effect is much easier to manipulate the field with, and his level makes him more adaptable. Being level 8, you can use trade-in to assist with draw power alongside moray of greed. This can put him in the graveyard which may make special summoning him a little easier. However, if you bring him out with a normal summon, that extra summon you get will make for a good push in overall strength.  He is one that you want to special summon as quickly as possible so you can get two summons, and either lock down your opponent, or just wail on them, depending on the situation.
