ExMinion OfDarkness
Oxygeddon

Meh.

Okay, we have a decent swarmer as the one who would be paired with this...and this guy isn't all that great. Now I see why they require you to use 2 Hydro and 1 Oxy.

1800 ATK isn't that bad; it stands up to a lot that's out there (although half of what this guy might attack would remove him from the game afterwards...) The second part of the effect is trivial; I can't think of any good over 1800 ATK fire types that are commonly played. I haven't seen a Phoenix deck hit Top 8 at a major event in some time, but even if this DID get killed by a Phoenix...800 damage to BOTH players? They couldn't just make it 800 to the attacker?

This'll never be a great theme; it'll fade away even quicker than the normal newbie-played themes like Unions and whatnot.

SandTrap
Oxygeddon COTD

While drinking about three energy drinks and studying for my last final, I've come up with this accurate explanation on how I feel about Oxygeddon and n00bs:

Player A: "Zomg are you ready to
duelz0rs!?!??!?!!?111uno1!!?"

Evan: What the hell?

Player A: "Okay I start with Oxygeddon in ATK mode *squels*, then I set 1 m/t, end da turn!111!!

Evan: K, I summon Cyber Dragon and attack.

Player A: "ZOMG LOLOLOLZ ROFFLE MY COPTOR, are you ready for some MAD combos!?"

Evan: ...k.

Player A: "I activate DNA Surgery!!! Now your Dragon, er Machine LOLZ is a Pyro, you take 800 ROFLLOLOLOLOL OWNED!"

Evan: . . .

...Um, so yeah...Oxygeddon sucks.

Rating: 1/5.

dawnyoshi Oxygeddon is…well, an 1800 ATK dino. Um…yea?

You’ll never use the effect. You will never want to make a Water Dragon. Why are you considering running this? It’s not a good card. :/

Dark Paladin
As I said yesterday, those of you who were paying any attention realized that todays card is of course Oxygeddon. Even though this card is indeed more powerful than yesterday's card, it has a more unreliable effect.

200 more attack points than yesterdays card and 200 less defense. For starters, in order to just GET the effect, Oxygeddon must be destroyed in battle by a Pyro type monster. Worse yet, the effect hurts you as well. BOTH players take 800 points of damage *sighs*

Ratings:

Traditional: 1.5/5
Traditional Water Dragon: Sadly, you still need it here. 4.5/5

Advanced: 2.0/5
Advanced Water Dragon: 5/5

Art: 3.5/5

You stay classy, Planet Earth :)
