Metalmorph

I really like this card. It's a great surprise against your opponent. Remember the days when LOB just came out and a lot of people played Reinforcements? Well, Reinforcement is absolete now thanks to Rush Recklessly. These cards saw some play because you often find times when your opponent would kill off both your La Djinns/7 Colored Fish/Harpie's Brother. With cards like Rush Recklessly, you get to keep your Monster, your opponent loses one of his AND he takes damage. Now, I introduce you to Metalmorph.

Since it's a Trap card, you can activate anytime you want (assuming you already set it for a turn of course). The 300 extra might not seem much at first, but it can make a huge difference. The last part of the card's effect is even better. Put Metalmorph on a La Djinn and it will become a 3350ATK Monster against a Summoned Skull (1800 + 300 + 1250)! That's really big. It's even better if you Equip it to Maha Vailo. ~_^

Lastly, this card is also a requirement to get Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon and Metal Zoa (future card) out.

This is one of the most playable Promos so far. Unfortunately, like I said before, this card is probably not legal in Official Tournaments.

Rating: 3.5/5
Yonex Metalmorph -- Friday

Introduction: Woah, now I just have a big super sized w/ fries monsters.

Continuous Trap
After activation, this card is used to equip a face-up monster. The monster
equipped with this card increases its ATK and DEF by 300 points. When attacking with a monster equipped with this card, you can further increase its ATK by an amount equal to half the ATK of your target.

Bads
-Trap Card
-Useless w/o monsters

Anaylsis: Hope everyone had a great X-Mas. Well we continue our promo trend
by looking at Metalmorph. This is one of the other cards that come out in the Forbidden Memories Bundle. This card can amazingly make this into a big monster. A powerup is not bad? Well, this can beef a monster really big. Also this being a trap card can make it have potential. Your opponent thinks they're attacking into a weak monster? You can increase it, and possibly make it big enough to overcome your opponent. Yet, it being a Trap Card makes it kind of bad.

This means your limit down to playing it on your opponent turn (most of the
time). Also, since it really is basically an equipment, it is useless without you having any monster. However, if you have monsters, that is
good for you.

Rating: Not a bad card at all. It has potential of getting big. Maybe, but
with the release of Lab. of the Nightmare being release in a few months, cards replace this badly. Still a good card. 2.8. However, only used in regular tournament due it being a promo.

Conclusion: Not bad, but basically it is just a mini Axe of Despair, except
Trap, in most cases.
