Trading Card Game Tips from fans

Subject: Chaos Theory

Dear Readers,

This is the revised tip of a tip I sent out earlier, and I found out that a few of the cards were not real... yet. So, I decided to fix the deck. I apologize for my lack of insight on the matter.

Chaos Theory. Those two words make people think that you're either crazy, or just another person to laugh at. However, the Chaos Theory is a real theory, and it basically is the study of complex non-linear systems:

Complex: a multitude of variables and equations
within equations. Non-linear: the equation
cannot be solved like your program code.
Dynamic: ever-changing, depending upon perspective.

By reading this, anyone who plays CCCC gets a glimpse of what a real Chaos-Themed deck is supposed to do.
For those of you who splash a Chaos Sorcerer, a DDWL or a DDA into a deck along with Mobius and Jinzo, I'm sorry to say that you are not a true chaos deck user.
In the metagame currently, the term "Chaos" is a name that receives terrible reviews and even worse decklists. I will do my best to present to the audience, a real chaos deck.

Since the times of Invasion of Chaos, the chaos support cards were all but overshadowed by Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning, and Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End. All of a sudden, chaos became the decktype to have, and everyone splashed these broken cards into their decks. Well, now they're gone, because of the people who splashed and abused. These are the cards we were left with (to those who like to resaerch a set before the next "anticipated" cards come out).

Chaos End - IOC 036
Spell/Normal
Common

You can only activate this card when 7 or more of your cards are removed from play. Destroy all Monster Cards on the field.

This card, I don't think was ever competetively played, and especially didn't make into any Top 8 lists. With Raigeki and Dark Hole banned... any Chaos deck should've used this to fill in the gaps. In a chaos deck, it's not hard to get 7+ cards to be removed, but people didn't dig into their commons boxes... By the way, you can run these in threes.
Also, you can still use the 50 dollar Mirror Force you have, and the common Torrential Tribute.

However, field advantage is not the only reason why the few people in the world run Chaos Theory, it also has the world's best drawing mechanic (for itself).

Card of Sanctity - TLM-EN037
Spell/Normal
Super Rare

Remove all cards in your hand and on your side of the field from play. Draw cards until you have 2 cards in your hand.

Card of Sanctity... the ultimate topdeck card. What've you got to lose with a useless facedown? Due to the ever-changing environment you face when you go against a Chaos Theory deck, it's important to remember that there are many hidden tricks outside of the norm.
Couple this with say... Graceful Charity, Jar of Greed, etc. The reason why this isn't banned, is because no one wants to remove their whole field from play, but that's exactly what a chaos deck wants to do.

There are probably ways to abuse cards such as DD Borderline, Chaos Greed, and Dimention Distortion, but all of those cards are situational...

So, we've got our draw power, our monster removal...
what about S/T removal?

Ahem... Bait Doll... ultimate anti-facedown card...
except for Book of Moon, etc. Read my tip on Bait Doll, if Chaos needed a support S/T removal card, it was Bait Doll. Besides this, compliment it with Heavy Storms, and Giant Trunades, and the MST.

Now, for the main cards in the deck.

Dimension Fusion- IOC 094
Spell/Normal
Pay 2000 Life Points. Both players Special Summon as many of their monsters as possible that have been removed from play.

With all the removal going on inside of Chaos Theory, this brings all those monsters back.

Return from the Different Dimension - EPI-EN008 Trap/Normal Pay half of your Life Points. Special Summon as many of your monsters as possible that have been removed from play on your side of the field. During the End Phase, remove from play all monsters that were Special Summoned by this effect.

These should be the game-ending cards.

The monsters, you should all be familiar with. I believe, this should be the ONLY deck that should be allowed to have the broken cards in it.
So, without further ado, I present to you, Chaos Theory.

Chaos Theory, a Real Chaos Deck.

Monsters: 20
Tributes: 4
2x Chaos Sorcerer
2x Different Dimension Master

Non-Tributes:
1x D.D. Warrior Lady
1x D.D. Assailant
3x D.D. Scout Plane
2x D.D. Survivor
1x Sangan
2x Magician of Faith
3x Shining Angel
2x Banisher of Light
1x Strike Ninja

Spells: 17
1x Spell Absoprtion
3x Chaos End
2x Card of Sanctity
2x Dimension Fusion
1x Graceful Charity
1x MST
2x Bait Doll
1x Heavy Storm
1x Dimension Rip
1x Reload
2x Giant Trunade

Traps: 10
2x Return from the Different Dimension
1x Torrential Tribute
1x Magic Jammer
2x Solemn Judgment
2x Royal Decree
2x Chain Disappearance

Total: 47

I know this may seem a bit hefty, and many of the cards seem useless, but remember, the deck is called "Chaos Theory", and to me, it works perfectly to counter the metagame. Well, that's all for today.

Remember to keep Chaos a viable decktype.

The flapping of a single butterfly's wing today produces a tiny change in the state of the atmosphere.
Over a period of time, what the atmosphere actually does diverges from what it would have done. So, in a month's time, a tornado that would have devastated the Indonesian coast doesn't happen. Or maybe one that wasn't going to happen, does. (Ian Stewart, Does God Play Dice? The Mathematics of Chaos, pg. 141)
