Hello everyone! Please read the following article and tell me what you think? Thank you very much for taking your time with this article!

THE EGYPTIAN GOD CARDS

The Egyptian God Cards weren’t meant to be used in a duel, thus no information was written on the cards. Hence, the only that they can be used in a casual duel is for player’s to make their own rules based on the anime series and many various sources of information that are available on the internet. The following set of rules is “EXTREME” and they are “MY” take on how to use the Egyptian God Cards in a duel. This is “MY OPINION” and “I AM NOT” trying to “SET” any new rules on how to use them in a duel. Obviously you are to make your own rules on how to use them in a duel and I have “MADE UP” / “ADDED” stuff to them. Again, this article was written in “MY OPINION.” I believe in civility and respect, so please do not send me any feedback with profanity in it as they are completely unnecessary and rude! To all the Yugioh fans out there, I sincerely hope that you enjoy reading this article as much as I enjoyed writing it. Yugioh totally rocks! It’s time to duel!

The shared abilities of the Egyptian Gods

(1) Three sacrifices each must be made to summon them to the field.

(2) The monsters sacrificed to summon them to the field are “permanently” removed from play.

(3) They are completely immune to all monster effects, spell effects, and trap effects.

(4) They can’t be revived from the graveyard and are “permanently” removed from play when they’re defeated.

(5) They can’t be sent from the player’s hand to the graveyard by monster effects, spell effects, and trap effects. Any attempt to do so automatically summons them to the field, regardless of whose turn it is. The cards controller may then choose to tribute three monsters on their side of the field, their hand, or their dueling deck; shuffle the dueling deck if the source(s) of the tributes came from here.

(6) They can’t be sent from the player’s deck to the graveyard by monster effects, spell effects, and trap effects. Any attempt to do so automatically summons them to the field, regardless of whose turn it is. The cards controller may then choose to tribute three monsters on their side of the field, their hand, or their dueling deck; shuffle the dueling deck if the source(s) of the tributes came from here.

(7) They can’t be chosen from the player’s deck by monster effects, spell effects, and trap effects.

(8) They can’t be taken from the player’s hand by monster effects, spell effects, and trap effects.

(9) When on the player’s side of the field or hand, the card’s controller is completely immune to direct damage from monster effects, spell effects, and trap effects; not direct damage from a monster’s attack!

(10) They automatically negate the special abilities of the monsters that they attack; hence treat all their targets as “normal” monsters. The only exception to this rule is if the targeted effect monster(s) uses this special ability to only affect itself. This falls along the lines of increasing their attack and defense points, NOT similar effects that activate upon a card’s destruction or being sent from the player’s hand to the graveyard.

(11) The player must pay 120 life points per turn that the Egyptian God Card(s) isn’t on the field. This penalty stops when they’re summoned and resumes when they’re defeated!

(12) They are ranked among themselves and are granted immunities from the other Egyptian God’s special abilities depending on their status. The Winged Dragon Of Ra is the most powerful and is completely immune to the special abilities of Slifer and Obelisk. Slifer The Sky Dragon is the second most powerful and is vulnerable to Ra special abilities, but is completely immune to Obelisk’s special abilities! Obelisk The Tormentor is the weakest of the three and is vulnerable to both Ra’s and Slifer’s special abilities! The only exception is with Slifer’s special ability; the controller of the affected Obelisk must flip and correctly call it right twice to “permanently” negate Slifer’s effect and restores Obelisk’s 2000 attack points and defense points; repeat this process per turn until you succeed.

(13) When attacking a monster in defense mode, inflict one-fourth of the attack points as battle damage to your opponent’s life points.

The Winged Dragon Of Ra (My all time favorite!)

Normal Attack: Blaze Cannon

Phoenix Mode Special Ability: Blazing Phoenix

When successfully summoned to the field, Ra will be in its sphere mode. In this form, Ra will still occupy one slot in the monster card zone. However, it will be unable to defend your life points, has no battle position, and cannot be targeted as a attack target, monster effect target, trap target, or spell target!

To unlock Ra’s battle mode, you must recite the incantation below. The summoner gets the first chance to do so, if they’re unable to do it on their turn, the opponent can do so at the beginning of their turn.

“Great beast of the sky please hear my cry. Transform thyself from orb of light and bring me victory in this fight. Envelop the dessert with your glow and cast your rage upon my foe. Unlock your powers from deep within so that together we may win. Appear in this shadow as I call your name, WINGED DRAGON OF RA!

Special Abilities

(1) Souls Of The Fallen: Ra will absorb the “current” attack points and defense points of the three monsters that were used to tribute summon it to the field. Thus its attack and defense will be the total sum of these monster’s attributes. These monsters are “permanently” removed from play.

(2) Command Of The Summoner: Ra will “only” obey and follow whoever recites the ancient incantation and awakens it from its sphere mode.

(3) Soul Drain: Sacrifice a minimum of 500 life points to “permanently” increase Ra’s attack points and defense points. This effect can be followed up with “Soul Drain #2” and Ra can attack in the same turn that this special ability was activated.

(4) Soul Drain #2: This ability can only be activated on the same turn that “Soul Drain” was used. Sacrifice any monster(s) on your side of the field to “permanently” increase Ra’s attack points and defense points. The monster(s) sacrificed by this effect is “permanently” removed from play. Ra can’t activate any more special abilities and he can attack in the same turn that this effect was activated.

(5) Phoenix Mode: In order to use this ability, Ra can’t use “Soul Drain” and “Soul Drain #2.” Pay 1000 life points to transform Ra into its ultimate form! He is immortal for three turns and can only attack on the same turn if you do not use “Wrath Of The Phoenix.”

(6) Wrath Of The Phoenix: Pay half of your current life points and destroy every card on your opponent’s side of the field and their hand! You must have a minimum of 3,000 life points to use this ability and Ra can only attack in the same turn if “Instant Attack” is used.

(7) Instant Attack: Allows Ra to attack “normally” during the same turn that the effect “Wrath Of The Phoenix” was used by sacrificing 1000 life points.

Slifer The Sky Dragon

Increase Slifer’s attack points and defense points by 1000 points for each card the player has in their hand. While he is on the field, the controller’s maximum card limit becomes eight.

Attack Name: Thunder Force

Second Mouth Attack: Summoning Thunder Blast

Special Abilities

(1) Second Mouth Attack: Slifer automatically attacks with his second mouth when your opponent summons a monster to the field. Decrease the attack points and defense points if the summoned creature by 2000 points as long as Slifer remains on the field. It either of that monsters stats hit zero, that monster is automatically destroyed!

Obelisk The Tormentor

Attack Name: Fist Of Fate

Soul Energy Max Attack Name: Fist Of Fury

Special Abilities

(1) Soul Energy Max: You can only use this effect if you don’t use “Soul Energy Boost.” Pay 4000 life points to activate this special ability and increase Obelisk’s attack points and defense points to “infinity” for three turns. He can’t attack on the same turn that this effect was used. This special ability can be used to defend Obelisk from Slifer’s onslaught (not Ra) but can’t be used to attack him with it!

(2) Soul Energy Boost: You can only use this effect if you don’t use “Soul Energy Max.” Sacrifice two monsters on your side of the field and destroy every monster on your opponent’s side of the field and inflict 2000 points of direct damage to their life points. He can’t attack on the same turn that this effect was used. This special ability is useless against Slifer!
