Baneful's Ten: Worst Cards of 2014 (so far)

This is going to be a list of the worst cards of 2014, so far, that we reviewed.  The stinkiest of all stinkers these past two quarters.  Extra-crappy cards like PRIO's Super Rare Avalon aren't factored in because we didn't bother to review them.  So their forgettability spares them the shame.
 
Dark Artist and Swordsman of a Foreign Land aren't included because they have been in the OCG for 10 years, and it wouldn't be fair to judge them now.  Okay, let's have fun.

Queen Angel of Roses
 
Three words: Just use Caius.  (Yes, even in Plants)
 
Giganticastle
 
A 2900 beater that does nothing else.  Raw attack power alone doesn't win duels.
 
Number 39: Utopia Roots
 
Situational crap that will almost never lead to a +1 or even 1-for-1.  Utopia, though, has certainly improved much since its roots.  That's for sure.  
 
Thestalos the Mega Monarch
 
Perhaps they missed the point of Confiscation.  Confy is an easy to use card that you can open with.  TTMM is just way too much work
 
Ghostrick Ghoul
 
This really does nothing to contribute to the theme.  It gains some ATK points but realistically speaking, Ghostricks don't have much raw strength to begin with.
 
Majiosheldon
 
A crippled version of Treeborn Frog.  If Monarch decks won't use this garbage, no other deck will.
 
Doble Passe
 
The most convoluted but bad burn card ever.  Just use Mirror Force instead, fry the opponent's monsters and attack directly.  Why waste deck space on this super-situational crap?
 
Puralis the Purple Pyrotile
 
Who would waste a Synchro Summon on a horribly weak monster with the slow negligable ATK reduction effect?
 
Guarded Treasure
 
 It will dump your entire hand and totally leave you without a pot to pee in.  But you'll gain card advantage off this someday... right?  Nah!
 
Fairy Knight Ingunar
 
Seriously.  Good luck finding 3 LV6 monsters... just for 2200 damage...  You can't even Soul Charge your way to victory here!
