BlackVoid's Yugioh Top 10 List - Top 10 Fun Cards
May 2009

For my third Top 10 list I decided to list some cards that aren't necessarily playable, but are just plain fun to use.

Blowback Dragon
6 Stars
2300/1200
Machine/Effect
Once per turn, toss 3 coins. If 2/3 are heads, destroy one card on the field.

This card is actually somewhat useful, 33% chance to destroya card every turn, and with 2nd Coin Toss it becomes 50%. Adds a bit of unpredictability to the match.

Heart of the underdog
Continuous Spell
If you draw a normal monster, you can draw another card by showing it to your opponent.

This is obviously best in an Exodia deck. Fill up with normal monsters, exodia pieces, and 3 of these, and watch the cards fly!

Inferno Tempest
Quick Play Spell
When you take 3000 or more damage, remove all monsters from both player's graveyards and decks from play

How can you win with no monsters? If you can clear what your opponent has on the field, this is the question you should ask. You're obviously using this with Return from the Different Dimension, but it's entertaining to see what happens before then.

Self-Destruct Button
Normal Trap
If your LP are at least 7000 points lower than your opponent's, both players LP become 0.

A good but unpopular strategy is to try to win the first game (in a match) and if you do, have your side deck filled with cards that help you activate this, sub those cards in and try to force 2 draws to end the match. If used casually, watch as all your opponent's work to beat you go to waste.

Soul Absorption
Continuous Spell
Each time a card is removed from play, gain 500 life points.

I love this one. Just keep a Macro or Banisher out, and watch your life points skyrocket. Pack in 3 Dark Bribes and a Magic Drain or 2 to keep these cards on the field and before long you can easily have over 15000 life points. Best used with DD Survivor.

Convulsion of Nature
Continuous Spell
As long as it's on the field, both decks are turned upside-down.

Not exactly fun, but makes the duel more interesting.

Lava Golem
8 Stars
3000/2500
Fiend/effect
Tribute 2 of your opponent's monsters to summon this to their side of the field. You can't normal summon this turn. The controller takes 1000 points of damage every standby phase.

A classic. With a stall card out watch as your opponent struggles to get rid of this thing. With Monarchs, the main Tribute cards used, becoming less popular, it's harder to get rid of it. It's 8 stars prevent it from being Synchroed as well.

Fairy Box
Continuous Trap
When your opponent attacks, toss a coin. If you call it right, their monster's ATK becomes 0 during the battle phase. Pay 500 LP each turn, if you do not, it's destroyed.

This is actually a game-changing card that is incredibly annoying to your opponent. Not many people will attack you with this on the field, and if they do take the risk then it can really turn the tables. Watch as your opponent contemplates whether or not to attack, and their facial expression if they lose.

Question
Normal Spell
Your opponent tries to guess the bottom monster in your graveyard. If they call it right, it's removed from play. If they call it wrong, it's summoned to your side of the field.

A nice little card that is actually playable. Most of the time your opponent won't know if it's later in the duel, and it's always nice to watch their face as they try (usually, in vain) to remember what card you had. I once used this and my opponent face-palmed themselves once they admitted they didn't know.

Dangerous Machine Type - 6
Continuous Spell
Each of your standy phases, roll a die.
Result=1, discard 1 card.
Result=2, your opponent discards a card.
Result=3, draw a card.
Result=4, your opponent draws a card.
Result=5, destroy an opponent's monster.
Result=6, destroy this card.

Hahaha, the funnest card in the game. Feeling lucky? Use this. The entertainment of this card if pretty self-explamatory.
