Subject: Cythion's top 10 redone cards. Warning, it's long.

First of all this is my first submission so try not make fun of it if it's bad. Anyway, lately I've been seeing a bunch of cards having something to do

with old(mainly commons from SOD cards mostly they were just various effect monsters being brought back with tweeked names, upgrades on their effects, and higher levels(however there were a few outside thst category). This will

also show whether I think you should go with the old or the new and what decks I'd say the winner goes in.

10. Enraged Muka Muka=Muka Muka. This one with 100 point boost on Muka Mukas

300 ATK and DEf increase per card in hand. Statwise Enraged is a 1200/600 with 5 stars, meaning it takes a tribute tto normal summon, meanwhile regular is 600/300 and level two, meaning it slips under gravity bind and level limit area-B and no tribute. Personally I say as rocks they don't get too much support, but a little more from being either. Now I didn't run the original and don't have plans for the new one, but if I had to chose, I'd use the original. Best deck for them, De/Boikochi+Pot/Greed Decks with airknight (draw decks {Well I guess that didn't take too long to guess})

9. Nobleman-eater bug=Man eater bug. 5-star 900/1200 pointer earth insect that destroys two monsters when flipped. Man eater bug had less Atk/Def, but

seriously, when was the last time you attacked with bug unless you just cleared the field up and besides your bug was probably already dead anyway.
On the topic of support, there's even less for insect then there is rock (as

far as I know) but again it's also an earth. But you aren't playing it for it to stay on the field your playing it for its effect. So is the tribute worth the extra kill? I'd say no. We have tribute, dark core, fissure, stomping ground, yomi ship, of course the original bug, and another card with the word nobleman in it's name to kill the fields monsters. Best deck, field clearer(Maybe I really don't need to put the deck types).

8. Hade Hane=Hane hane. 900/1000 six star beast that flips yo return 3 cards

back to their owners hands over hane hanes one for no tribute.
Supportability: Beast-I don't know about this one, you're probably gonna end

up using it to help out that maji gire-panda with this, I don't know.
Earth-Again there's support for this, I don't know where it comes from, but alot of people say it's there, better do some digging. Is the tribute worth the increase? Definately. Laugh at their three blue eyes that they're blasting you away with. Having trouble with a berserk gorilla or something, dial 1800-Hade-Hane. Also gives you something like strike ninjas retreat power. Best deck probably something like a field clearance or something, it also helps in deck based on the mukas above.

7.Neo-aqua madoor=aqua madoor. This will be short without effects. NAM Is six star spellcaster water with 1200/3000. AM is NAM with 1000 def off.
Support: Water and spellcaster, support comes from a bunch of places. Is the

tribute worth the higher def? Maybe in a stall deck type, otherwise, stick to AM. Best deck type=Fun deck. Seriously people the madoors won't see much if any competitive play (although AM has decent DEF for a 4star).

6. Swift Gaia the fierce night=regualar gaia TFK. Swift gets normal summoned

without tribute if it's the only card in your hand, anyone thinking of running it with cyber dragon? Swift supportability: Warrior-good.
Earth-(Apparently) good. Plus Kuriboh, dark core, and tribute to the doomed fit nice and snug with him(Plus either core or tribute can be used for marie

the fallen one). Regular supportability: Just look up. Anyway this only the second card I've looked at so far that I'd rather run the newer version of.
In fact the only reason I can think of to run normal over swift is to try to

be like yugi, and he used swift too so I can't think of any. Best deck for
him: Probably warrior, but cyber dragon goes nice and easy if you draw those

two and some spell/trap cards first turn. Oh and since dark world focuses on

getting cards out of your hand tossing him in there wouldn't be too much difference would it. Just keep him away from the muka's and Hanes I talked about earlier.

5.Obnoxious celtic guardian=regualar celtic guardian. They're both 1400 four

star earth warriors used by yugi moto in the show. Obnoxious becomes invincible in battle with five hundred points more (although you still take the damage, but a kuriboh or waboku will fix everything). Pretty much copy everything other then the cyber dragon and dark world stuff from the last card to him.
THIS IS WHERE I LOST THE GOOD OPTIONS FOR THIS AND HAD TO SWITCH TO MORE IFFY CHOICES.
4. Perfectly ultimate great moth=great moth. Okay so this is a little different because on the show in yugi's first duel against weevil the cocoon

was supposed to last five turns and bring this guy out, but instead he brought out great mothon turn 4. So you wait another turn and get 900 points

increased. What's the big deal you might say. Well it is a big deal, it's 100 points shy of what axe does, and when you have an axe in front of you you started shaking right? Overall I say PUGM beats GM but seriously most people don't run insect decks. Anyway support time: Check (N)MEB above support. Best deck: Great moth deck, nuff said

3.Mecha/Skull/Outstanding dog Marron. Mecha=Does 100 burn to both players when killed by your monsters, 1000 to your opponent only when an effect kills it. stats, 1000/1000, 4 star, light/machine Support=Beast-I don't know

about this one, you're probably gonna end up using it to help out that maji gire-panda with this, I don't know. Light-Again there's support for this, I don't know where it comes from, but alot of people say it's there, better do

some digging. Outstanding(As far as I know this is the first Marron and
doesn't belong here=100/100 1 star light/beast. Support: Beast-I don't
know about this one, you're probably gonna end up using it to help out that maji gire-panda with this, I don't know. Light-Again there's support for this, I don't know where it comes from, but alot of people say it's there, better do some digging. Effect brings it back into your deck when after it hits the graveyard, saves a resource but you can't use it for 'this card can

only be special summoned by removing Xmany light mon in grave from play.
Skull-Beast/earth(It's a SKULL dog but it's earth?) 4 star 1350/2000 monster, in other words, it's a 150 point atk boosted versin of the regular madoor I did earlier, but it's beast and earth.Anyway support Beast-I don't

know about this one, you're probably gonna end up using it to help out that maji gire-panda with this, I don't know. Earth(Are all redone cards earth)-Again there's support for this, I don't know where it comes from, but

alot of people say it's there, better do some digging.(Blatant copy and paste, will you ever fail me? Mysterious voice: No. Me: WTF!) 2.Sanwitch=Witch&Sangan. This seemed harder then the last set considering this is 1-2. But it's actually easier to review. Sanwitch fuses two of our first searchers together. This means you can say hello to things like jinzo,

the monarchs, and my favorite witchable card, summoned skull soon. As well as those vital cards to combos like rescue cat and solar flare dragon from sangan. But back on sanwitch itself, 2100/1800, reputable, but there are better fusions out there, but like with the bugs mentioned earlier, you're not playing this for power, your playing this for the other benefits of it.
Supportability: It's a dark spellcaster. Just think of dark magician without

the fanbase and attention to a foundation to match it. Now since I compared this to it's fusion material there isn't a real winner to this one. As for the deck well, I can't think that up, maybe starting the article at midnight

wasn't such a good idea. So just think of a deck on your own, but thanks to DM's fanbase, help with that isn't hard to find. Big problem in this though,

witch is banned, so you're gonna have to use alterier means of fusion for this, if you wanted this that bad.

And #1 It's, Goblin calligrapher. Comparing this to it's original, fake trap

is easy considering how different they really are. Fake trap (although both cards have the paper sayingfalse instead of fake) was something to save your

traps for a turn. The goblin is a level 1 400/400 dark/fiend who devotes himself to writing the word false for unknown reasons. Supportability:
Dark-Good Fiend-Good, morphs into TER very good (most likely the only reason

for it to to be played at all). Personally, I regard them as equals, I don't

pay attention to either one. Run the goblin to get TER, run fake to save whatever you want to save. And a wierd note about these last two. In monster

form the goblin has a horn, but in fake trap he doesn't, has he gone through

some strang goblin acne since he first appeared?

No I am finally done with this long, self refrencing list about cards that have come back from wherever they went. I'm really glad it's done.

Any hints, help, opinions, bashing (hopefully not bashing) or anything else about this please send it to me, Sean Black/Joe Weston/Cyrill Mcintosh my MSN name is Soda_Soul_Stealer@hotmail.com. Oh and If I put the beast stuff for mecha dog Marron could you take it off and put, 'things like seven completed and emergency provision or whatever that card was'.
Humble apologies, Cythion
