Hello Pojo Fans,

Nouvelles Restaurant “At Table” is the Field Spell for your cooking needs.

Field Spell for Nouvelles that grants you a search when played (like most Field Spells now), you can get it from the Deck or the Graveyard, though you’ll likely always take from the deck to thin out your resources. Draw ability that is a 1-for-1, putting a Ritual Monster to the bottom of your Deck to draw a card, love this effect to get rid of doubles of Ritual Monsters or to dig for a card you need instead of the Ritual Monster.

Targeting two cards in the grave and placing them on the bottom to draw a card is a great way to recoup cards while getting a draw that isn’t going to end up being one of the cards you just put back. This Field Spell is all about getting you cards. You get a Recipe card and another card (any card) back to the bottom of the deck to draw something in your End Phase, netting you a +3. The Recipe card you search when playing Restaurant could be the one you put on the bottom in your End Phase. With the amount of tributing to Special Summon a higher level Ritual Monster that this archetype does, you won’t be short of Ritual Spells and Ritual Monsters to cycle back.

Restaurant had to be the way it is. You needed a reliable way to cycle back cards while still maintaining advantage. With this as an option you won’t need to play anything to get cards back from the grave (Pot of Avarice). You have your search options in the archetype and outside it, and now you have a way to keep having options in your Deck to draw, because when you tribute to Special Summon it has to be from the hand or Deck.

Can’t have chefs without the restaurant for them to cook at, so welcome to the Nouvelles Restaurant “At Table”

Nouvelles Restaurant is a Field Spell that upon activation lets you add any Recipe card from your Deck or graveyard to your hand, which is far from a revolutionary effect on a Field Spell, but at least it’s a way to get to the Recipe cards to do your Nouvelles stuff. A soft once per turn lets you return a Ritual Monster from your hand to the bottom of the Deck to draw a card, which is good to put a Nouvelles monster back to summonn from Deck with the ones you got on the field, or instead put back an old classic you can now summon from Deck in this archetype. The second soft once per turn triggers during your End Phase, letting you target 2 cards in your graveyard, including a Recipe card, and return them to the bottom of the Deck in any order, then you draw another card. Another neat effect for ensuring you never run out of resources in your Deck for this archetype. You can only activate 1 of these a turn, so you can’t search too many Recipe cards, but it’s still a good Field Spell for the archetype. Running multiples also helps loop each one, so that might be the way to go.

No eating establishment is complete without a venue, and Nouvelles Restaurant “At Table” appropriately provides a Field Spell for the archetype that can only be activated one per turn. Upon activation, unsurprisingly, you can search any Recipe card or recycle one from your Graveyard, letting you grab either of the Nouvelles Ritual Spells or their Trap cards, which are also Recipe cards. The other two effects are both soft once per turns, but in practice they’re basically hard once per turn since you’d have to jump through hoops to activate them multiple times. By placing a Ritual monster on the bottom of your deck, you can draw one card. This effect’s primary purpose is to put your high-level Nouvelles monsters back in the deck, since your low-level monsters can ladder into them anyway; drawing is a neat bonus that makes the effect worth it. Lastly, during the End Phase, you can place a Recipe card and any other card in your Graveyard at the bottom of the deck to draw one card. Another useful effect, since you’ll probably want to recycle your Ritual Spells and high-level Nouvelles monsters if they’ve been removed. While these two effects are nice, the main draw is still searching for a Recipe card since many of your combos have to be started with Fish Recipe, so you might as well run three copies along with Terraforming.

Art: 2.5/5 It’s not a bad-looking card, though it kinda lacks the personality of the other archetypal cards.
