Cactus Bouncer, another really interesting card, is a Level 4, Earth attributed, Plant monster with 1800 attack, which is good, and a paltry 300 defense. What can this cactus do? First off, it can't be Special Summoned, which is a boon to most cards. However, when another Plant monster on the Field exists face-up on the Field, neither player can Special Summon monsters.

It's obviously a great asset for Plant Decks, but you have to make sure you aren't relying (or at least heavily relying) on Special Summoning yourself, as neither player is allowed to.

Cactus Bouncer

Sorry for not chiming in for reviews for a while! I just got my computer fixed so now I am back in business.Today's card is Cactus Bouncer, an 1800 ATK and 300 DEF EARTH Plant with 4 stars. That is actually a solid set of stats and plants do need some more muscle as they are mostly combo cards right now.

The effect is that it cannot be Special Summoned and while you control another Plant monster, neither player can Special Summon. The first effect pretty much guarantees that the card will not see play. The Plant deck is all about Special Summons so it is really hard to fit in a card that specifically cannot be Special Summoned. The second effect also hurts your own deck as well, which is bad since most of what you do in this deck is Special Summon.

There is a bit of a cool idea though, if Cactus Bouncer is on the field and you have Lonefire Blossom, you can Tribute the Lonefire as a cost and be able to Special Summon with it. Though neat tricks are not going to keep this card in competitive play.

It is a cool tech card in a Plant deck that could be very good, but also hold you back a lot. Maybe in a deck based on Mark of the Rose and not on Gigaplant could use it...

Cactus Bouncer ...

This card is good ... but JUST short of being great. 4 stars. Solid & meaty 1800 ATK. Earth type - fairly decent. Plant - fairly decent as well. And a very good effect ... Negating the ability to special summon ... This cripples most decks NOT Blackwing related. Yes, there are plenty of ways around this, but a card like this, present at the right time, could lock the game in your favor. However ... its those extra words that take AWAY from Cactus bouncer. "other than this card" .... yeah, that sucks. He needs ANOTHER plant on the field with him in order for his effect to kick in. And he himself cannot be special summoned. So as much butt as he'd kick with Gigavise, it'll take a bit of work to get him in working properly.
Overall, I like him. Someone will incorporate him into something pretty annoying for opponents ...

Cactus Bouncer. This card I love. Its main flaw is it cannot be special summoned. I already have ideas with this, since I was the first on Pojo's forums more than likely with Absolute Powerforce cards, and this is one of the cards I have. While there is another Plant monster on the field, neither player can special summon monsters. Black Garden came to mind. When a token comes out while Cactus Bouncer is on the field, it prevents both players from special summoning. So the opponent has to destroy the token or Cactus Bouncer to allow special summons. Cactus Bouncer has a solid 1800 attack, poor defense but its not like you will defend with this, making Book of Moon a threat against Cactus Fighter. Regardless, Cactus Bouncer can be used in many ways, personally I'd love to see what people come up with, with this card.

Cactus Bouncer:

Plants just keep getting the support! Awesome! This card seems like it was made for Black Garden. Activate Garden and then summon Bouncer. When you summon him, your opponent will get a plant token, and that will be the other plant on the field you needed to use the effect of Bouncer. This also means that when your opponent summons, your field will not be cluttered with plant tokens. This is just one of the cool things you can do with him. But, I don't think he is potent enough to really be useful outside of casual play.
