Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon, a Dragon and a Sea monster, fun I suppose, who is a Level 5, Water attributed Synchro monster, who is also a Sea Serpent, which is neat, as there aren't many of those, who has 2300 attack and 1800 defense.

Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon is Synchro Summoned with a Tuner and a Level 3 non Tuner monster. It's a bit odd, and obviously a bit more difficult to Synchro Summon as it requires a specific level of non Tuner, but there are plenty of Level 3 Water monsters.

Speaking of Level 3 monsters, when a face-up or lower level monster is sent to the Graveyard, this cards attack becomes 3000 until the End Phase, which can be a nice surprise I suppose, and this card could be fun to use, but not the most competitive.

General Zorpa Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon

Another mouthful of a name. This guy boasts 2300 ATK and 100 DEF on a level 5 WATER Sea Serpent. You HAVE to have a level 3 non-Tuner though. The card that comes to mind for us with this guy is Deep Sea Diva, a card that has garnered some fame int eh YGO world.

Basically, you will not play this guy without Diva getting a level 3 Sea Serpent, as then it is basically a Normal summoned 2300 Beater. His effect is that if a level 3 or lower monster dies, his ATK becomes 3000. As you essentially Normal Summoned this guy, that is pretty good. His Synchro requirements are far too specific for there to be really any use outside of a deck packing Diva, but a deck packing multiple level 3 or lower monsters is where it belongs.

He doesn't really work with the older Sea Serpent stuff, but as the new stuff is pretty good, you can use it with that or do some crazy combos with Pot of Avarice and Salvage for pretty much a Synchro Summon per turn.

Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon

Today’s card up for review is Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon. What a name huh? This guy has a pretty cool effect. The big question would be if you could pull it off. You will have to use up two monsters to bring him up, and then have a level or 3 monster get sent to the yard. I have seen this go off, and it’s hilarious when it does. If you have the room, why not use one? If you are using a Synchro oriented deck like Cat Synchro, why not use him? You would see his effect goes off more easier in there

We're going to finish off the week with a pretty cool synchro monster. Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon. Quite the mouth full eh? Well Gishilnodon is an interesting monster to be sure. Its a level 5 synchro monster than can be summoned with 1 tuner and 1 level 3 non-tuner monster. It has a solid 2300 attack 1800 defense stats and when a level 3 or lower monster goes to the graveyard from the field, Gishilnodons attack goes up to 3000. For a level 5 monster thats not bad. Its rather easy to summon as there are multiple cards like Krebons and Road Synchron to get this card out.

There really isn't much to this card except for it being an easy to summon beatstick.

Lol Pisko Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon

I don't really know what to say, this card is pretty bad. The only time I could see it being useful is during sealed, and you pulled a Blizzard and Kalut or Diva and Level 3 Sea Serpent. You really have no reason to play this over Magical Android, and even Android is pretty bad.

I like Sea Dragon Lord. It's a five star synchro that gets stronger when level three monsters are destroyed. Just by looking at the card you can tell the Sea Sephants may start abusing level three monsters. It card be the boss monster for the theme providing that it could help some major combos in the future.

Trad: 1(The only thing I see competitive is Chaos in here)
Adv: 2.5 (I can this card having its own deck.)
Parallel Fates Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon…. It’s nice to finally see another level 5 synchro monster other than Magical Android. However, this one is kind of a disappointment. You can literally ignore its effect of gaining 3000 attack…because chances are given the decks being played right now, in order to even summon it, you’ll have already used one of the few level 3 monsters in your deck.

However, if you do find yourself running more than the usual 1-3 level 3 monsters, you might as well just reserve a spot in your extra deck for this card for kicks. Anything can happen in this game, and that 700 attack boost can even win you the duel. But for the more competitive decks, I rather use his spot in the extra deck for something with more utility.

Reality is that there will not be many instances in which you find yourself even summoning a level 5 synchro, and when you do, there’s no reason why you should choose Gishilnodon instead of Magical Android. With most decks these days running Solemns, that little 600 LP recovery from Android can actually prove to be a deciding factor of a game. Fun deck, perhaps…competitive deck, no chance.
