Pollinosis...very short, and very simple, and a card you might as well be playing if you are playing Plants.

Plants are trying to establish themselves as a solid Deck, and they just aren't quite there yet. Anyway, you Tribute a Plant-type monster and you negate the activation of a Magic or Trap Card, OR the Normal OR Special Summon of a Monster.

It's a beautiful destruction card, to be honest, again, you should be playing one or two if you're playing Plants.

Well, this is the Plant equivalent of Mind Over Matter. This one is far better tho. You can negate everything that Solemn Judgment does except for flip summons and all at the cost of a Plant on the field. It gets betetr in that you can tribute ANY PLant, meaning your opponent's are fair game as well.

This means that all of those tokens produced by Black Garden are fair game to tribute for your own Pollinosis. This is a format where deconstructing key plays by opponents means that you can have a clear shot at their lifpoints. Pollinosis produces that in spades and can even be called a free activation due to Black Garden and your opponent's field.

There is a problem in that often you will not want to tribute a Plant to activate it, as Tytannial or Gigaplant ar emore useful on the field than in the graveyard.

Todayʼs card up for review is Pollinosis. It should be obvious how broken this card is. If you use Plants, you run 3 copies of this card without question. Plant decks are using Black Garden, so you will certainly have monsters to sack off for its effect. Simply put, why not run 6 Solemn Judgments in your deck?

Just like Mind over Matter as the Solemn Judgment for Psychics, Pollinosis is the Solemn for Plants. With the release of Dandylion, this card will stop the opponent from doing anything. Tribute the Dandylion, negate something and plus get two more plant tokens to tribute for. Black Garden is another help to the cost of Pollinosis. They summon sometihng and you get a free Solemn pretty much. This card should be ran in threes in every plant deck.
