Dark Paladin
Friday

Closing the week we look at Armor Exe, a very old card who is Level 4 and boasts an incredible 2400 attack points and even a semi-respectable defense of 1400. He is Light and a creature of the Beast family.

This card has several drawback however.

First:

This card can NOT attack in the turn it is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned.

Why didn't that line of text just state "This card can NEVER EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE ATTACK when summoned?"

Secondly:

This card is destroyed if you do not remove a Magic Counter from the Field during your AND your opponent's Standby Phases. If you don't, Armor Exe is destroyed.

So, he can't attack on the first turn, and he can't survive without a large abundance of Magic Counters. Believe it or not, this card is NOT completely worthless. There are a couple of off-the-wall rogue wacky decks that require lots of stalling, defense, or turbo, and Magic Counters for everything. Hell, once in a while you might be able to work something, but this guy is better left forgotten.

Ratings:

1.05/5 all, as it at least has a slight glimmer for someone wasting a deckspot somewhere in the above mentioned deck.

Art: 3/5 The picture is cool.

Armor Exe

A 2400 ATK four star monster. It gobbles spell counters faster than my uncle gobbles turkey, and unless it does, it dies. You can get around this by using Skill Drain or swap it with creature swap, but there are better cards to use in this situation, like Chainsaw Insect or Fusilier Dragon the Dual Mode beast.
