Master Monk

Okay...1900 double attack with a specific Tribute requirement isn't good.

With Lone Wolf, it can be, if you can keep taking out your opponent's Tribute fodder and preventing them from summoning a random Monarch on you or something.

It's compatible with all of the other monk-specific equips and spells, but none of those cards are actually any GOOD.

The rare situations that this card would generate advantage are far outnumbered by the number of times this card would be a dead draw, along with the times your opponent will just either get rid of your Lone Wolf and then wail on this with a Cyber Dragon, or use a S/T effect to get rid of this and render the Lone Wolf useless.

Besides, there's already a much better double attacker by the name of Cyber Twin Dragon, and his attacks can be yours for the low, low price of 5,000 Life Points*

* + applicable Shipping and Handling. May take 4-6 turns to get Stein onto the field. We are not liable for faulure of this product due to Sakuretsu Armor, Mirror Force, Torrential Tribute, Ring of Destruction, or any other removal/negation effects. Offer not valid in Kevin Tewart's dream format (wher Cyber-Stein would be banned.)

3/5 in the Monk deck (even though it's the centerpiece of the deck, I still don't see it as being all that great.)

Master Monk:
Insert your favourite "Monkey" quote here!

A 1900 double attacker is good. That can rack up some recent damage and/or advantage over other monsters.
Sadly, the Monks are rubbish just to make sure this doesn't rampage the field. As a nomi, you have to fear Sakuretsu slightly more. Mostly, though, the nails in the master's coffin are put there by is relance on the rubbish Monk Fighter. Having to have both that on the field and this in hand just make the abuse of Master Monk virtually impossible. Shame really. It would be fun to use.

Master Monk

Idk, this card isn't as pointless as like, yesterdays. I guess you could do SOMETHING with it. Idk. Seems pretty bad to me though.

LOWESR POSSIBLE SCORE IN ALL FORMATS, LOL!

As far as cards go his, effect is great. His summoning requirements are even OK IMO. But the fact you go through all that to get a 1900, I ask you WHY?

I dare say that D-Hero Double Dude is a better card, Hyabusa Knight, Mataza the Zapper, CYBER TWIN DRAGON fusion summoned via polymerization:P

I just do not see this card warranting play because he is a tribute that requires a special tribute monster. Raaaaaaaaa! why make a card like this, if your going to tribute summon, summon something worth summoning. Zaborg, Airknight, Jinzo, Tyrant Dragon, BEWD, etc.

If this monster could be summoned without his "weaker version" then he'd be awesome. Maybe give him additional effects upon using the "proper" monster.

But they didn't and he is a waste of resources.

Master Monk - Friday.

Lastly we look at Master Monk to finish up this week reviews. Its also from the TLM set.

You have to offer a Monk Fighter to bring it out, and it can attack twice in

a row. Okay, but it will die next turn to a Cyber Dragon, Zaborg, Smashing Ground. Oh look, all your hard work has gone down the drain. And ohhh look your dueling career too.

I think you get it, the decktype imo is crap. You can try if you need, but Im right...always.

Master Monk

Master Monk is a good card. The only requirement is that you have a Monk Fighter on the field to Tribute. Master Monk’s summon is a Special Summon; not bad. He has 1900 ATK and he can hit twice in the same Battle Phase; excellent.

Activate Lone Wolf and then proceed to destroy the field. Lone Wolf was made for this card. I like Lone Wolf equipped to this card since it allows you to hit a DDWL, DDA, or DDW and keep on truckin’.

Last Word: There’s not much else to say. He’s good when he comes out. He’s awesome in draft. If you’re playing one of those Kung-Fu decks for fun you have to play Master Monk.
