Type Zero Magic Crusher

Happy Valentine's Day!

When this card first came out, I thought it worked differently. At first, I thought you can't just discard Magic Cards and deal 500 damage for each card discarded, but you have to combo it with Magic Jammer, Tribute to the Doomed, Card Destruction, etc.

Now the ruling on this card is that you only deal 500 damage if you voluntarily discard the Magic card to Crusher. If you had to discard the Magic card due to some other effect, you do NOT deal 500 damage in the process. It's only one or the either.

It works in either a Burner or Control deck. In a Burner, you can discard those excess removals that you don't need and deal 500 to the dome. It also effectively makes every single Magic card you draw = 500 direct damage. Nice. In Control, you can discard those excess Messenger of Peace and whatnot as an alternative way to win. Not that good here though, mainly best in Burners...

Rating: 3/5

wartortle32 Friday - Type Zero Magic Crusher

This card lets you discard a magic card to do 500 damage to the opponent's LP. First off, I want to note that you must manually discard magic cards for
the sole purpose of feeding the crusher if you want the effect to work. You cant discard a magic card for another reason (like for magic jammer) and still do
500 damage.

This card is only really good when you can get 2 or 3 out. Then you basically get a tremendous fire without the damage to you. However, I dont see it really
fitting in any deck besides a burn deck. If you do have a burn deck, and you want to use this card, you must pack 3 for it to be effective.

I give it 2/5. For the most part, stay away from this card as you will be difficult to get more than 1 copy of this card on the field consistently.

Friday (Valentine's Day) - Type Zero Magic Crusher

Before I start, I'd like to wish everyone a happy Valentine's Day!  I have a feeling mine isn't going to be so good =(

Anyways, on to today's card.

This is one of those cards that should NEVER be put into a serious deck.  NEVER.  It's highly unlikely that you have any Magic cards in your deck that you would be willing to throw away just for 500 pitiful damage.  You will then say "What about Cannon Soldier?"   Well, technically, you're not throwing monsters away, because I'm sure you've already used their effects or inflicted damage with them, and if you've gotten some use out of them, then it's OK to launch them.  With this, you won't get quite the pleasure.  Stay far, far away.

A couple rulings:
1. You can't use multiple TZMC on one Magic card.
2. You have to discard the Magic card via TZMC's effect to deal damage.

In other words, stay far, far away.

Score: 1.3
