Parasite Paracide

FLIP: Put this card face-up in your opponent’s deck and shuffle it.  When your opponent draws this card, it is immediately Special Summoned on your opponent’s side of the field face-up in Defense Position and inflicts 1000 points of Direct Damage to your opponent’s Life Points. From this point, all face-up Monster Cards on your opponent’s side of the field are treated as Insect-Type monsters as long as this card remains face-up on the field.

Very interesting card indeed. You kinda have to make a deck based on it if you want to maximise its use. You can combo it with the well known DNA Surgery & Insect Barrier combo. Basically, you don't need DNA Surgery (assuming the effect was successful). A few cool things that you might not realize about this card. When you shuffle this to your opponent's deck, you are increasing his deck size, which means that it also reduces the probability for your opponent to draw a particular card from his deck. Now, 1000 damage might help out a lot as well, especially if your deck is a semi-burner. Now, don't forget that once your duels are over, you should retrieve your parasites back from your opponent's deck. ~_^

wartortle32 Friday - Parasite Paracide

Today we look at Parasite paracide. The flip effect says to shuffle this card into the opponent's deck face up. Then when the opponent draws the card, he takes 1000 damage and it gets summoned to the field. Then all opponent's monsters becomes insect types.

I personally dont like this card. It allows way too much cheating. Think of every duelist's deck that you've seen. Aren't most of them, if not all put in sleeves? And those slleves all are different colors. What are the chances you are actually going to shuffle the card into the deck fairly? As for the actual effect itself, the 1000 damage isn't really worth playing. The other effect of changing the opponent's
type to insect could be good with insect barrier, but it only works when this monster stays alive. It can easily be destroyed,

I give this card a 1.5/5. I really dont see a point to this card. Just a waste of space. I cant believe they made it a super rare.

Parasite Paracide

This is one of the most annoying Monsters Servant will introduce to the environment. This Bug is easy to combo w/ the wall of you'll never get to attack me and tere are only so many ways your opponent can get rid of this Monster once is on his side with out taking too much damage. I can also see this Bug work in burn decks and in at least one other combo deck. ^_<
