Pojo's Yu-Gi-Oh! Card of the Day
Daily Since 2002!

Dragonic Diagram

- #MACR-EN053

All "True Draco" and "True King" monsters on the field gain 300 ATK and DEF. The first time each Tribute Summoned "True Draco" or "True King" monster would be destroyed by battle each turn, it is not destroyed. Once per turn: You can destroy 1 other card you control or in your hand, and if you do, add 1 "True Draco" or "True King" card from your Deck to your hand.

Dragonic Diagram

A common in Japan, a secret rare everywhere else. You’ve heard this tune before. But that’s the reality when a card proves to be this amazing. OCG players truly are blessed. Dragonic Diagram, this is your review, and it’s short and sweet.

Run this card in True K/D decks and every hybrid. The end. Okay, no I’m kidding, but seriously, there’s not much to go into. We have already reviewed a small sample of the amazing monster lineup available to True K/D, but there are many more. With up to 6 presence is any deck thanks to Terraforming, Diagram is a glue-type spell that makes any situation you desire a reality. It boosts, it protects, it searches. The Triple Crown of Yu-Gi-Oh. I won’t waste time saying anything more about a card that has been discussed ad nauseam by players of all kinds. If you can afford it, run this card until it’s banned.

Hello Pojo Fans,

Most expensive card in the game right now, Dragonic Diagram is one of the money card for the latest set (if you can pull it, being a secret rare and the massive messup that has occurred regarding the ratios).

Built for the True Draco and True King archetypes, this Field Spell boosts those archetypes ATK and DEF by 300. Not the best boost, but those archetypes have high ATK anyways, so that isn't really a critical part of the card. Protection against the first destruction by battle each turn for each Tribute Summoned monster from either of those archetypes is good. With their high ATK they are more susceptible to effects or spell/trap destruction cards. A 1-for-1 search ability once per turn will replenish your hand with something you need out of the deck, either True Draco or True King related. That effect is made even better by the destruction of the card you give up, activating any effect it may have. Graveyard effects firing off to give you pluses while giving you a search from the field spell, this can lead to a big turn, every turn.

This is a great spell for either archetype, but if you can't afford it, don't worry, the deck runs pretty good without it regardless.

Crunch$G
True Draco week is still rolling along, and today we have what I think is probably the greatest Field Spell in the history of this game. Dragonic Diagram has so much potential in the True Draco deck, as well as making it splashable in other decks with some True Dracos or True Kings.

As some field spells do, Dragonic Diagram gives monsters a boost. This one lets True Draco and True King monsters gain 300 ATK and DEF, because a 3250 Master Peace is fun to deal with if they didn't tribute a spell. This card also prevents True Draco and True King monsters that were tribute summoned to not be destroyed by battle once per turn. You will never tribute summon the True Kings, but having more protection for that Master Peace is really good. This cards last effect is why I think it is greatest field spell of all time. Once per turn (not per name, but per copy), you can destroy a card on the field or in the hand to add a True Draco or True King card from your deck to your hand. Pure True Dracos will use this to get to Master Peace ASAP (P.S. You can run 1 of the wind True King to pop it to get a spell or trap as well as getting probably a Master Peace). Not only that, but the Dinosaur True King deck can pop the babies to get the Earth True King and the baby can summon a monster (likely Oviraptor) to search a baby to summon and pop with Oviraptor to revive a baby while summoning another baby from the deck to pop with the Earth True King to eat away at your opponent's extra deck. This isn't to mention True Draco Kozmo Metalfoe and True King Yang Zing being decks because of this card. Play 3 if you intend to use True Kings, and expect this card to maybe get the banhammer one day.
