Hello Pojo Fans,

Terraforming is a card that is on notice to potentially get banned in the upcoming list.

Search out your favorite Field Spell for no cost to you, a 1-for-1 that will launch you into your combos. This card has been amazing, digging out Dragonic Diagram, which then leads to big plays and seraches. If you play a Field Spell, you are running at least one of these cards, usually a set to maximize your chances. If you draw into more than one off turn one you are thinning your deck, and in the case of many Field Spells these days, getting multiple effects off the same card in the same turn. If you draw into it when you have used all your Field Spells, set it as a bluff or use it as discard fodder.

It's a simple card that is run at max if you are packing Field Spells. Dragonic Diagram will be the reason this is limited or banned.

With the rise of Field Spells came the rise of a card released all the way back in Pharaonic Guardian in 2003. That card is Terraforming.

I'll keep this short and sweet, Terraforming adds a Field Spell from the deck to the hand. If your archetype has a Field Spell and it is somewhat good, then Terraforming is a 2 to 3 of depending on if your deck can search it with ease without Terraforming.

This card is bound to go to 1, especially with the release of Metaverse. Field Spells are just so powerful in 2017.

Terraforming is an incredibly simple Magic card.  It lets you add a Field Magic card from your Deck to your Hand.  A useful enough ability in a Deck focused around a Field Magic card, but here's the problem.  If you've all ready played the Field card, whatever it may happen to be, this card can very easily turn into a dead draw.  I wouldn't fault anyone who uses a Field centered Deck to use one, I think the issue here (in addition to the dead Draw capacity) is whether or not you have room in your Deck to run it.
