Daily Since 2002!

Cyber Angel Vrash
- #INOV-EN036

You can Ritual Summon this card with "Machine Angel Ritual". If this card is Ritual Summoned: You can destroy as many face-up monsters your opponent controls as possible that were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, and if you do, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent for each, and if you do that, this card can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated that would destroy a card on the field: You can shuffle 1 Ritual Monster from your Graveyard into the Deck; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card.

Hello Pojo Fans,

The big hitter of the Cyber Angels archetype we're reviewing: Cyber Angel Vrash.

Once this boss lady gets Ritual Summoned she is like a nuke. Wipe your opponents Special Summoned monsters (from the Extra Deck) off the field and then deal 1000LP for each?! Wow, just wow. Mass removal from the field and effect damage, what is not to like? Pendulums, Xyz, Synchro, and Fusions are all targets for this widespread destruction. If that wasn't enough, now they can attack twice with this monster. This is an OTK or even an FTK in the right situation (and the FTK isn't far-fetched). She's also got a built-in protection effect once per turn to shuffle back a Ritual Monster to negate and destroy a destruction effect. Adding back resources to be searched out later to negate and destroy a destruction effect? You don't see that much in the game.

This Ritual Monster has a ton going for her. While she belongs in the Cyber Angel archetype, she has no restrictions stopping her from making an appearance in another ritual deck. If you have a way to bring out a LIGHT ritual monster, this one may be a choice to add to the deck. If you go second and your opponent Special Summons two Xyz, Synchro, or Fusion monsters, you have the potential to end them right there. Regardless, this card has the potential to OTK with relative ease. At the very least it could clear some of your opponents monsters but still leave othe Special Summoned monsters.

Ritual Monster eh?  Cyber Angel Vrash has a lot of text on it...let's see if anything is good out of it.  Level 10, Light, Fairy, nothing wrong so far.  3000 attack is good (though a Level 10 Monster should have at least 3500 attack, and I'd prefer 4000 or more) and the defense seems low at 2000.  For one, it's able to be Ritual Summoned fairly generically, with Machine Angel Ritual.  Also worth noting, there are a LOT of these Ritual Monsters, and the family isn't yet complete in the English game.  So, when Ritual Summoned, you can destroy as many face-up Monsters your opponent controls, so long as they were Special Summoned from their Extra Deck.  If you do, your opponent takes 1000 Damage for each destroyed Monster via this effect, and this card is granted the BLS effect of being able to attack twice in the current Battle Phase.  Also, note that those attacks aren't stated that they have to be concurrent, and better than that, it doesn't state that one (or both) can't be direct attacks.  Also very likely why the card only has 3000 attack, despite it's level, and the level is necessary to balance out powerful effects.  But wait, there's more.  Once, during either players' turn, you can negate the activation of and destroy a card that would destroy another card on the Field.  This is done by recycling a Ritual Monster from your Graveyard back to your Deck.  This card, played right, could win you some games, rather easily.  It's strong, it burns, it prevents, it destroys...the Deck needs some work, but if you play this right, you win, simple as that.

Cyber Angel Vrash is a Level 10 Light Fairy-type Ritual Monster with 3000 Atk and 2000 Def....And she is really pretty. Her Ritual Summon is costly, but since she isn't restricted to only Ritual Summons, she gets a pass. Her Ritual Summon effect is to wipe out and destroy the opponent's face-up Extra Deck monsters that were actually Special Summoned from the Extra deck. The ones that were actually destroyed then get multiplied by 1000 to deal that much damage to the opponent. If the damage goes through, Cyber Angel Vrash can make a second attack. So destruction effects aren't perfect, but at least this one doesn't target. The effect only activates when she is Ritual Summoned, which is certainly a bummer for a boss monster. Hitting twice can certainly make up for that if she nukes anything.
Her second effect only requires her to be on the field. If you have Ritual Monsters in the grave, you can shuffle one back to the deck to negate and destroy one card that is trying to destroy some other card on the field. That effect can only be activated once per turn, but since it's during either player's turn, it can be very disruptive. It's great that the effect can activate no matter how she got to the field. She can prevent her own destruction, but Cyber Angel Vrash has low attack for a boss and low attack for a Level 10 monster. Play at least one since she is so searchable in her own deck.
