- #SECE-EN041

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Deskbot" monster from your Deck, except "Deskbot 003". Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 "Deskbot" monster you control; it gains 500 ATK and DEF for each "Deskbot" card you currently control, until the end of this turn.

Baneful

It's not a competitive high-tier deck (and probably will never be) but Deskbots can certainly win some fun games by swarming with weak monsters which boost each other's attack.  With cards like Machine Duplication and Limiter Removal, there's a little potential.

Right now there's only 2 other Deskbot monsters (001 and 002).  004 is out in Japan now.  Not a lot of search targets overall, but this card is a very good searcher (since it searches from deck).  It's a decent card for what it is (for fun decks) but Deskbots need more support until I can give this card a high rating.

Machines are fun Monsters, because it doesn't necessarily matter how many specific cards (or Monsters) there are in the theme, because the support Machines have is very generic overall.  Especially in terms of powerful things like Limiter Removal (just an example).  There are 4 Deskbot Monsters so far I believe...001 to 004.  These guys are weenie rush to the mega extreme.  But work very well together.  They Summon one another, boost attack and/or defense of themselves and other Machines, and are very quick.  003 here gives you a Special Summon of another Deskbot when Normal Summoned, and once a turn lets you increase the attack and defense of a Deskbot you control by 500 until the End of the turn.  Honestly, if they could get more Monster support and get something really powerful to use as well, they might be able to take off for a while, kinda like Batteries did before they shorted out.  Ha, Dark Paladin made a funny.  They're fun, but there's no room for them right now.

Rating:
2.5/5  Honestly, they aren't a bad archtype.  Just not able to work right now
