Pot of Riches

Right now this card is useless during early game, making it dead card half the time.  Sounds familar because Pot of Avarice was a borderline case when it was first released, until the game sped up and it became broken.  As Pendulum support increases over time as the dominant mechanic, this card will become very good in the future because it is a +1 that will give you quick draw power.  The Special Summoning restriction might not even matter if Pendulums become prevalent enough.

Don't buy this card now (the prices of newly released cards are usually inflated).  It's like $20 now.  Wait till it hits $5 or something, and then buy it with intent to hold onto it as Pendulums rise.

Hello Pojo Fans,

Pot of Riches likely says “For Qliphorts Only” on the bottom of the pot. At this moment in the game they are the only deck that is consistent enough that can run enough Pendulum Monsters to warrant this cards use.

Pot of Riches does for Pendulum decks what Pot of Avarice did for decks that ran it when it wasn't banned. Shuffle 3 Pendulum Monsters back into your deck from your grave or in your Extra Deck, then draw 2 cards. Easy effect to use, and easy to come by in the Qli deck.  Pendulums that get negated or sent from the deck or hand to the grave don't sit idle as only fodder use. While Pendulum Monsters can be brought back from the Extra Deck by Pendulum Summoning, some of the Pendulum Monsters are better used in the Pendulum Zone, and this card can put them back into the deck to be used again as such. The Special Summon restriction this card imposes doesn't matter as long as you can Pendulum Summon.

Needed in any deck that Pendulum Summons, but that's it.

Friday

This is a good card to close the week, Pot of Riches, is obviously another Draw card with various conditions.  Pot of Avarice is in this category, yet Banned.  Pot of Greed, obviously Banned also.  This is the best option of what's left in the family that's available, but does that make it good?  It is getting better all the time, with Pendulum Monsters on the rise, and the arsenal ever growing.  By Shuffling three Pendulum Monsters from your Graveyard and/or Extra Deck back to the Deck(s) you Draw two cards.  Even though the resources are recycled, this is a -2, at least from the onset.  You can't Special Summon, save Pendulum Summon, but that's all right.  You can only use one of these a turn to not break open a game or gain mass advantage, so it has balance.  It's easy to use, and it will be abused.  It just isn't there quite yet.
