Baneful

It requires 2 Pendulum monsters, which is no problem considering that we're moving into an era that will be dominated by them.  Any type/Attribute/archetype of Pendulum decks can use this card: Performages, Majespecters, anything.

With the on-summon search effect, it already pays for itself.  Not only that, but if you're in a tight spot and need a low-scale or high-scale to get established, you have this.  It can also search out Archfiend Eccentrick for removal.  And with the OPT effect, it can help you get another LV4 to make another XYZ play all the more.  This card particularly is great in allowing you to bring Luster Pendulum the Dracoslayer to your hand so you can start bringing out combos.

This card will be used and talked about for years to come.

Paladin
Majester Paladin, the Ascending Dracoslayer...so Rank 4 XYZ, Wind, Dragon, XYZ Summoned with two Level 4 Pendulum Monsters.  So during the End Phase of the turn this card is Special Summoned, you can add a Pendulum Monster from your Deck to your Hand.  Also, you can once a turn, detach an XYZ Material from this card to Special Summon a Dracoslayer Pendulum Monster from your Extra Deck, although you can't use it for XYZ Summons.  He's pretty average for a Rank 4 stats wise at 1850 and 2000, but he's good in his Deck, good enough anyway I suppose.  Theme support is good.

XYZ time! It has been a while since we saw a rank monster. Majester Paladin, the Ascending Dracoslayer is a Rank 4 Wind Dragon-type XYZ Monster with 1850 Atk and 2000 Def and no Scales! I was hoping for more attack, but we'll have to settle for the effects. That being said, some Pendulum monsters can adjust his attack to mitigate its lowness. The main problem with these stats is that he requires two Pendulum monsters to XYZ summon him. While this is not as big an issue in his own deck and some other popular decks, it does bring the score down a bit.

Majester Paladin has an on XYZ Summon effect and a detach XYZ material effect. The on summon effect can be used multiple times per Majester Paladin. In the End Phase, get a Pendulum Monster from the Deck to your hand. Getting back resources is great. Then, you can Special Summon a Dracoslayer Pendulum Monster from you Extra Deck at the cost of 1 material, but only once per turn. That monster cannot be XYZ material after it is summoned that way. Of course, the main Dracoslayer you would be getting is a tuner so Synchro Summon at your leisure. So he has two effects that replenish resources in the same turn. That's good in my book.

Score: 4/5 Higher if he had more power.
Art: 4/5 Majespecters being ridden are cool.
