Vector Pendulum, the Dracoverlord
- #DOCS-EN024

Pendulum Effect Negate all card effects in your opponent's Pendulum Zones. Monster Effect This Overlord overran an entire world with his army of Dracofiends, using his Dragon Alchemy to convert all life into his terrible minions. The source of this power is unidentified, and probably extra-dimensional.

Reasons why this card is very good:

1) 1800 ATK beater (Strong in this format)
2) Easily searchable via Painful Decision, which also dumps 1 in the graveyard.
3) Can be revived via Masked Chameleon for an instant LV8 Synchro
4) Alow-scale Pendulum monster which can aid in Pendulum Summons, as well as continually revive itself.
5) LV4 for XYZ plays
6) Activating this card turn 1 (or any turn) will disrupt opponent's pendulum cards (like Trick Mirror, Luster Pendulum, and so on).
7) It's a splashable-generic so it works well for any Pendulum deck, and works well against any Pendulum deck.  This makes it a long-term investment against future decks to come.

The one downside is that if you're facing a non-Pendulum deck (like Kozmos), it's negation effect won't help you.  In that case, just swap it with Samurai Cavalry of Reptier when side-decking, but like stated above there's lots of other benefits to this card.

Look more Pendulums.  Vector Pendulum, the Dracoverlord, is a Normal Monster, but also a Pendulum, if you didn't gather from his name.  A 3 on the Pendulum scale, and a Level 4 Monster, who is a Dark, Dragon type Monster, with 1850 attack and 0 defense.  0 defense is never good, and 1850 attack is quite good, although attack ending in 50 always irks me for whatever reason.  This card isn't the biggest but its Pendulum effect is pretty sweet.  It negates all the effects in your Pendulum Zone.  This card is good right now but will only get better as Pendulums continue to rise.  Honestly I see this as more a Side-Deck option right now, but hold onto the one(s) you have.

Hello Pojo Fans,

First time there is a card to counter Pendulum Monsters that is a Pendulum Monster itself. Vector Pendulum, the Dracoverlord has decent support behind it, being DARK and a Dragon-Type, and 0 DEF even yields it some support as well, but most of that support involves it being a monster, you want it being a spell. This guy belongs in the side deck to counter decks that Pendulum Summon like Igknight, Qil, and Majespecter. Drop this guy in your Pendulum Zone and don't worry about your opponent firing off any knights or searching with scout. It's a good side deck card, but that is really all it is, a side deck option at the moment to help counter Pendulum Decks.

There is a beautiful simplicity to this card that I just love. Vector Pendulum, the Dracoverlord is obviously a Pendulum monster as the name suggests, but it is also a Normal Monster and gains some bonuses that way. He also boasts some other highly supported stats of Level 4 Dark Dragon-type with 1850 Atk and 0 Def and with Scales of 3. The low scales are good, and the stats lend themselves to Summon some of the more difficult members of the Draco deck.

Vector only has a Pendulum effect. Negate all card effects in your opponent's Pendulum Zones. Fortunately, that effect only affects cards in your opponent's Pendulum Zone. Unfortunately, this card is a combo piece. He is a great one, but only as great as the deck he is put into. Otherwise you have a decent easy Normal Summon beater. Or, you have a set of low scales that shut down opposing scale effects. There are other cards that really want Vector, but Vector on his own is a Dragon-type Mechanical Chaser.

Score: 4/5 Versatile combo piece or beater with bonus negation effect.
Art: 4.5/5 Very cool.
