Gravekeeper's are gone, we shift to XYZ, and I chose this card for artwork alone...and then I saw what he could do. Fairy Knight Ingunar is a Rank 6 XYZ Monster, XYZ Summoned with three Level 6 Monsters, maybe annoying, but not as difficult as it may initially seem. Plant is playable enough, although Earth kinda brings the card down a bit. His attack (yes HIS) isn't good for a Rank 6, let alone one needed three Monsters to XYZ Summon, at 2200, but the 3000 defense only adds to the value of this card. It's odd also that the effect requires TWO XYZ Material to be used, yet three to Summon. But anyway, by discarding two, you return all cards on the Field (except this guy) to the respective Hands. Now, that, on itself, is good, but for insurance, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this cards activation. So that's a 2200 hit right there, OH, but you could do this in the beginning of a turn, Summon some more Monsters, and go in for the kill. This guy doesn't have much FTK potential, but his OTK potential is awesome. Sure, I'm not big on that, you're likely only getting that effect once, but the effect should mean game for you. Honestly, it's better out of Plants, which is probably its main weakness. And remember, there are ways to recycle, replenish, and add XYZ Material if you some reason need to use the effect again.

Ratings:

Traditional: 3.5/5 Honestly, it's not the best or quickest OTK, but it's still one, just slow.

Advanced: 5/5 Partly cause I haven't given out a 5 in a while (more like 4.5/5) but the three Monsters for Summoning and the OTK possibilities are sick. This guy could get Banned sooner than later.

Art: 5/5

Fairy Knight Ingunar

This card has a powerful effect with a burdening cost, and is overall hampered by poor design decisions. It's hard enough as it is to get 3 LV4 monsters on the field. How does Konami expect players to get 3 LV6 monsters on the field? The fact that this card requires 3 XYZ material yet only uses 2 of them is also odd.

This card won't give you any card advantage either, unless your opponent happens to have 3 XYZ monsters face-up (more if you've -1'd yourself to summon those LV6 monsters). I'm not denying the fact that you could win games by clearing out your opponent's full field and attacking directly. It's just that you'll only be swinging directly with a 2200 ATK monster rather than 3 LV6 monsters (which could do lots more damage). Even with it's negation effect, Bottomless Trap Hole and Solemn Warning still works!

Ingunar does have a powerful effect and maybe in time there will be easier ways to summon it. For now though, it's really tough to recommend for anyone.

Rank 6 is a strange thing. Not as many as Rank 5, but not as powerful as Rank 7. Still mostly better than Rank 8, I suppose... Hello, one and all. welcome to you-know-where with you-know-who.

Anyway, today's card, Fairy Knight Ingunar, is a simple card. Detach two and he clears the field. Monsters from the Extra Deck will hate this guy if you can get him out. Powerful effect, no way to dead draw him and good enough stats to never be too in danger. The Extra Deck is tighter than [Insert Thing of Your Preference Here], so if you can find space and can make this 3-material Rank 6, by all means go, nobody will fault you.

Ways to counter FKI: kill it the moment it hits the field, since you can't respond to the effect.

Advanced: 2.5/5
Traditional: 1/5
