Silent Doom I know we've seen Kaiba play a couple of times, as well as Rebecca, and I'm sure others. You can Special Summon a Normal Monster from your Graveyard in defense position. Said Monster is not able to attack. The Normal Monster part isn't as big an issue as the not being able to attack part. Not to mention there are countless better and less restrictive cards for Special Summoning. Sure it can help XYZ and Synchro Summon but still...

Continuing with our review of Joey’s World cards, we are going to look at Silent Doom today. Silent Doom allows us to special summon any normal monster from our graveyard. It is a normal spell card so it gives us some speed. The issue that I have with this card is that you can only play it on your turn and there are already numerous cards that can special summon normal monsters from the grave, like Birthright, Call of the Haunted, Supervise, Swing of Memories, and Soul Resurrection.

Trap cards that resurrect normal monsters have the advantage of being played on ether player’s turn and therefore can also be used to defend your life points. They have the disadvantage of being susceptible to spell and trap removal and the fact that you have to wait a turn to play them. You will have to weigh the advantages and disadvantages to both types of cards to determine which is best for your deck.

Silent Doom is a good card to play in Gemini decks as you can special summon them and then normal summon them to get their Gemini effects. It is also good for Synchro and Xyz summoning in normal decks. The problem is that these decks are too slow in today’s Meta.

Hey guys today we are going to be doing a Spell Card that debuted in Gladiator's Assault as a secret rare and now has been reprinted in Joey's World as a super rare. Now the revival of a normal monster may not seem that great. The only card I can see worth it is Blue-Eyes White Dragon, but I'd rather use Maiden With Eyes of Blue to be able to fully abuse Blue-Eye's capabilities. The next thing I can think that is usable is Gemini monsters, but those cards aren't really that great right now either.  If this card had an actual anime effect it would be a lot better, being a monster reborn is pretty good with you know, monster reborn being banned..
