The counterpart, essentially, to yesterday, as if most people didn't see this coming, Lightpulsar Dragon is the card for Valentine's Day.  This is a Light Monster, as you may have guessed, but Level 6 with 2500 attack (as opposed to Level 5 and 2400 of yesterday) with 1500 defense.  Also, like yesterday, as opposed to tributing, you can Special Summon ala Chaos Envoy, by removing a Light and Dark Monster from your Graveyard from play.  Furthermore, by sending a Light and Dark Monster (not Dragons like yesterday but merely Monsters) to Special Summon Lightpulsar from the Graveyard.  But even better than that, when sent from the Field to the Graveyard, Special Summon a Level 5 or higher Dragon-type Monster from your Graveyard.  Odd that Lightpulsar can only Special Summon a Dark, but still really good I think.  Multiple obvious targets (sad Blue Eyes is left out) and respectable enough attack at 2500, and ignoring the third effect, playable outside of Dragons.

Lightpulsar Dragon works perfectly with yesterday’s card Darkflare Dragon, as it is a light while Darkflare is a Dark, and when Lightpulsar goes to the graveyard from the field, you can then special summon Darkflare. The other main card you can summon is Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon which then lets you special summon Lightpulsar again. As you can see, there is a lot of cinergy with these cards. Just add in Eclipse Wyvern and some Chaos monsters and support cards and you have a pretty powerful deck.

The nice thing about Lightpulsar Dragon, is that it can be special summoned from the graveyard by sending a light and a dark monster from your hand to the graveyard. Sending a Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon or a Darkflare Dragon sets up an easy special summon when Lightpulsar is sent to the graveyard. The other way to special summon Lightpulsar is to remove a light and dark monster from the grave. This sets up nicely with Eclipse Wyvern to get a monster to your hand or Escape From the Dark Dimension to special summon your Dark monster.

We will be getting more powerful dragons to add to out Chaos Dragons in the next set, so if you are wise, you will be getting your structure decks now so you are ready for the dragon on slot.

Happy Heart Day! Because POJO loves you, he's letting review cards from the new Dragons Collide structure deck the week, and today's card is Lightpulsar Dragon. Stats aside, this card is great for dragons. You can special summon it from either your hand by banishing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster from your graveyard OR from the grave by sending 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK from your hand to the grave. When this card is sent to your graveyard, you can special summon 1 level 5 or higher DARK/Dragon type monster from your grave.  This card sets up other monsters like Eclipse Wyvern and Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon for them to do their thing, or use D.D.R. to special summon one of the monsters you banished. Then should Pulsar leave the field to  your grave, special summon level 5 or higher DARK/Dragon from your graveyard. You have a few choices, Darkflare, Red Eyes Darkness, Vice Dragon, whatever you think  you would need to set up your next turn. Yeah, a great card...the only downside is if this in your opening hand, it may take a little setting up for it to hit the field....but other than that, this is a must in the new age dragon decks.

The brother of Darkflare Dragon and another amazing chaos dragon for the deck. He can help you get him back in play and fill the graveyard at the same time, as well as be 'chaos summoned' making him a very versatile monster.

His last effect can cause some confusion, so let me explain that he must go to the graveyard as the result of an attack (destroyed in battle), or go to the graveyard as the last part of a card effect to get the timing right for his ability to special summon a Lv 5+ dark dragon from the graveyard. I believe that means that cards like Sakuretsu Armor, Smashing Ground and Master Hyperion can trigger his ability, but if him being sent to the graveyard while a card effect is still resolving, such as Mystik Wok, where you'd send him to the graveyard, then gain LP, would cause him to miss the special summon timing. Also, you can't tribute him and get his effect either, because the summoning of the new monster interrupts the timing of his effect.

Still, he makes for a real nightmare to deal with, allowing you to get out Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon, Darkflare Dragon or another nasty, high-power monster.

He works great in any dragon or chaos deck that uses strong dark dragons of high levels. All in all, another great new dragon who can also be tribute summoned without too much hastle.

The light boss monster of the structure deck, Lightpulsar Dragon provides a beater and hand foolish and a monster reborn effect for dragons with a 2500 atk body. The great thing about these chaos dragons is that they can be special summoned by removing a LIGHT and DARK but do not have to be. Have two high attack monsters in your hand that you cant bring out? Dump them with LP Dragon and set up your grave for a BLS or other chaos monsters. Opponent Dark Holes, Mirror Forces, runs it over, Dark End Dragons it, whatever; this bad boy brings back a bigger monster from the grave, most likely a REDMD.

Trad: So hard to decide, I mean come on it creates fodder for BLS and CED
