Deck Fix:The Immortal King Dragun
By:WiCkEd
9.2.05

Yo yo yo guys! Back with a deck fix for you to end the week. Also, to those of you whom were affected by hurricane Katrina, I am deeply sorry for your losses. I hope you all find your way soon. So here we are with a deck fix, unto the deck.

Hey, my name is justin and i am 15.This is my King Dragun Deck.I have been playtesting it aganist my monarch and warrior decks and so far it has a 15-3 record.
I think it's awesome but i thought i would see what u think about it.

Monsters:
1 D.D. Warrior Lady
3 Fusilier Dragon, the Dual-Mode Beast
1 Kaiser Glider
3 Luster Dragon
2 Spear Dragon
3 Masked Dragon
2 Mirage Dragon
1 Tribe-Infecting Virus
3 Tyrant dragon

Spells:
1 Graceful Charity
1 Heavy Storm
1 Lightning Vortex
3 Metamorphosis
1 MST
2 Nobleman of Crossout
1 Pot of Greed
1 Premature Burial
2 Scapegoat
1 Snatch Steal
2 Stamping Destruction

Traps:
1 Bottomless Trap Hole
1 Call of the Haunted
1 Ceasefire
1 Mirror Force
1 Ring of Destruction
1 Torrrential Tribute
Fusion Deck:
3 King Dragun
3 Thousand-Eyes Restrict

P.S. If u can send me a list of things that King Dragun's effect can negate at Gtaplyer92@aol.com because that is my biggest problem right now.
Thanks, hope u pick mine

Hm...some of you may be asking: WiCkEd why did you choose this deck? Well, who ever sees a deck based around King Dragun? Not me.

-3 Tyrant Dragon

-3 Luster Dragon

-2 Masked Dragon

-2 Mirage Dragon

-1 Kaiser Glider

+2 Horus The Black Flame Dragon LV6

+2 D.D. Assailant

+1 Sangan

+1 Morphing Jar

+1 Tsukuyomi

+1 D.D. Warrior Lady

+1 Sinister Serpent

+1 Breaker the Magical Warrior

Reasoning: 3 TYRANT DRAGON?!? Insanity. This deck overloaded on tributes, so we're dropping it considerably to basically give it a more competitive feel and play power. Adding the two Horus LV6 was to take more advantage to Dragun by giving you a Dragon to summon, with the bonus effect of being immune to Spells/Magics. D.D. Assailants are for Aggro and removal, as in D.D. Warrior Lady. Sangan is to search out Morphing Jar (hand replenish), Tsukuyomi (disruption), Sinister Serpent (hand advantage) or D.D. Warrior Lady (removal). Very broad selection there. Breaker is more Magic/Trap removal. This gives your line-up more field presence and aggression.

-1 Metamorphosis

-2 Stamping Destruction

+2 Book of Moon

+1 Enemy Controller

+1 Delinquent Duo

Reasoning: 3 Metamorphosis is too much, 2 should be fine. Stamping Destruction is often too situational than "I can use this like MST". Adding Book of Moon gives you more specific uses either to help yourself or hurt your opponent. Enemy Controller is the same way, but in a sense a tad more versatile. Delinquent Duo provides a 2 for 1 hand advantage wise, which, you might as well take total advantage of.

-1 Ceasefire

+1 Bottomless Trap Hole

Reasoning: Ceasefire is alright, but mainly sidedeck material. Adding in Bottomless gives your deck an ample amount of removal and gives your offense more push.

So that sums it up! Under the idea of Aggro/Dragun I feel I've done well. 'Cause usually I don't deal with decks like this often, it was a fun time. King Dragun is probably one of the more versatile fusions around...and being Level 7 he pops up whenever. Dragon decks gain an obvious boost from his effect, as do Morphers. I feel that King Dragun is fun, semi-underused in Dragon based decks. Crippling the opponent is what Dragun does best, obviously. Kek. Dream well kiddies, I'm going to bed. Peace!
