Aster Phoenix - (Season 2)

A Pro League duelist introduced in episode53 of the second season. He is shown battling Zane in his first Pro League duel, which Zane loses. Asters's deck is compromised with hero's cards also. But unlike Jaden's E-Hero deck, Aster uses his D-Hero Deck which stands for Destiny Heroes. His major conflict that he is focused on right now is finding the person who is responsible for his father's apparent death, and to reclaim the Hero card that was stolen. One of Aster's main goals is to rid the entire world of crime. Along with his manager, Takuma Saiou, they make their next destination Duel Academy where Aster Duels Jaden for the first time and beats him. He believes Jaden is a fraud because he duels with no cause. But Aster soon begins to question whether his manager Saiou is only using him for his own personally gain which involves the Society of Light. Only time will tell.

Aster Phoenix:

(season two)

Aster Phoenix runs a D-Hero/E-Hero deck mainly but he also created an Archlord Zerato deck out of eight packs he bought on the first day at the academy.

Aster is a duelist in the Pro League, an "underground" league for the best duelist.

He comes to the academy with his manager Saiou Takuma, the founder of the Association of Light.

Aster Phoenix seems to also be on his own agenda to find the person who murdered his father and to punish any criminal in the world. - Star Gemini

From: Michion25

Aster Phoenix is a new student at Dual Academy who first plays an Archlord deck against Jaden, but soon reveals that his true deck (after defeating zane in a duel at the the pro league) is an Elemental Hero deck.He then reveals that the second half of his deck(after beating Jaden in a duel!)is a Destiny Hero deck.Doing so inadversidly causes Jaden to lose the abilty to see his cards!
