Trading Card Game Tips from fans

From: Corey Quirk
Subject: Metal Monstrosities by Culex

Now, since I know that Cyber Dragons and their close relatives in the machine world are all the rage now, but I wanted a Machine deck capable of laying quick waste to your opponent's side of the feild as well as their life points. Hehe... here's a little brute of a mechanical deck that I devised for traditional play:

Monsters

3x Ancient Gear Golem

1x Perfect Machine King

1x Jinzo

2x X-Head Cannon

1x Gear Golem the Moving Fortress

3x Chainsaw Insect

3x Kinetic Soldier

3x Ancient Gear

1x Sinister Serpent

Spells

1x United we Stand

1x Mage Power

1x Monster Reborn

1x Swords of Revealing Light

1x Harpie's Feather Duster

1x Heavy Storm

1x Pot of Greed

1x Graceful Charity

1x Limiter Removal

1x Raigeki

1x Change of Heart

1x Snatch Steal

2x Brain Control

2x Magnet Circle LV2

Traps

1x Mirror Force

1x Imperial Order

1x Call of the Haunted

1x Magic Cylinder

1x Spell Shield Type-8

2x Sakuretsu Armor

Playing the Deck:

Well, alright... We all can easily see the major war machines of this deck are the Ancient Gear Golems, and Perfect Machine king, and of course, both of those cards are 8 stars. So now we ask ourselves, how do we get them out as soon as we can? The answer... Easy. The best way to successfully get them out on the first few turns, play defensively with either the Moving Fortress, Chainsaw Insects, or Kinetic Soldiers. Your opponent should have a monster or 2 by now, and thats just what the Change of Heart, Snatch Steal, and Brain Controls are for. Grab a hold of one or 2 of their monsters, tribute them both and make way for either your Golems or the King. Now that you cleared them out of monsters, and keeping them on the run, start pounding away with no regard to their health. The point is to keep them on their toes when a seemingly indestructable beast is on your side of the field. If you seem to get unlucky, and have to wait to either draw the engines of the deck, or your opponent has actually managed to drag your monstrous creation to the graveyard, play the Sak Armors, Mirror Force, and Swords of Revealling Light to buy you sometime. If you are lucky to stumble upon a hand like Graceful Charity, Perfect Machine King, Monster Reborn, and Limiter Removal, depending on what your next cards are, you have the game. As you play graceful, drop the King to the graveyard, and bring him back to the field with Monster Reborn. First turn, you already have the king. If you are lucky enough to snag another powerful machine, and a feild clearing card (Raigeki, Heavy Storm), follow up with an attack with both machines, smash with a limiter removal, and if your opponent isnt already crushed like an insect, they will only have around 1000 lifepoints left.

Here's the gist...

Play offensively, bring out the big guns as soon as you can. Once you start the smashing, dont stop, it only takes one turn and one good draw for your opponent to snag the game. If you cant grab control as soon as you can, devise a plan that will help you keep cards in your hand, as well as many options open as you can without expending too many resources.

Well, thats my deck. The name is Culex, and I want to hear from you whoever tries this out or your own versions of it. Farewell!
