Subject: Gravekeepers- The Revolution-- Chaosmech

Howdy, y'all. This is Chaosmech again, back to talk about an excellent decktype that doesn't seem to get much play.
Just for some background, each of the Gravekeeper Monsters is a Dark Spellcaster, and all have both ATK and DEF boosted by Necrovalley, a field card that also prevents removing cards in the graveyard from play. The Gravekeeper monsters boast trample, revival, bounce, burn, position change, and searching, all in a group of monsters that work quite well together.
I believe that the Gravekeepers could be a Tier 1 deck in the right hands (i.e. probably not mine). Here's a decklist.
Gravekeeper Assault
Tribute/SS Requirements: 3
Gravekeeper's Chief x2
Dark Magician of Chaos x1
Non-tribute: 18
Gravekeeper's Spy x3
Gravekeeper's Guard x2
Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier x3
Gravekeeper's Assailant x2
Mystic Tomato x2
Sangan x1
A Cat of Ill Omen x1
Spirit Reaper x1
Exiled Force x1
Injection Fairy Lily x1
Breaker the Magical Warrior x1
Spells: 15
Terraforming x1
Necrovalley x3
Mystic Plasma Zone x1
Graceful Charity x1
The Shallow Grave x1
Mystical Space Typhoon x1
Heavy Storm x1
Creature Swap x2
Smashing Ground x1
Magical Dimension x2
Nobleman of Crossout x1
Traps: 9
Call of the Haunted x1
Deck Devastation Virus x2
Mirror Force x1
Torrential Tribute x1
Ring of Destruction x1
Magician's Circle x1
Rite of Spirit x2
Total: 45
There. Notice that the DDV mechanic works quite well with the Gravekeepers.
Spear Soldier, Assailant, and Chief are all over 2000 when Necrovalley is on

the field. If Mystic Plasma Zone is there instead, add Breaker and DMoC.
that makes a total of 9 legal targets, and with Necrovalley, A Cat of Ill Omen fetches the DDV straight to your hand. Necrovalley prevents removal from play, which stops Freed/Soul of Purity and Light Return and the Chimeratech OTK. And since your opponent is most likely not playing any Gravekeepers since Chaos died, then your deck gains total advantage from Necrovalley. The Gravekeepers, with the exception of Chief, are searchable both through Tomato and Spy, and so Gravekeepers have excellent field control. With DDV, hand control becomes easy. Magician's Circle combos well with all Gravekeepers, and can fetch Chief quickly. Don't fear losing your Gravekeepers, because with Rite of Spirit and Chief, you have free, unrestricted revival at your fingertips. If you want to, you can add Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer in place of Injection Fairy Lily, which provides a legal

target for Magician's Circle and DDV if Plasma Zone is on the field.
I don't know, I think it could be great. But first, someone has to see how well Gravekeepers counter the current meta. Once they do, watch out!!
Hope you liked it. If you have any questions, comments, concerns, deck fixes, etc., just email me at chaosmech@hotmail.com Keep it cool, Chaosmech
